Baseball!!! Red Sox?

Anyone here a baseball fan???

I am a huge Sox fan. Im sure I will get applause and boos for this!
SO happy that baseball is back and I cant wait to get to Fenway!!

I live for the BoSox!  Unfortunately, I recently moved to North Carolina, so NESN is non-existant.  >:-O  Sooooo many Fenway memories!!

When I was nine I went to a game decked out in Red Sox gear . . . at Yankee Stadium.  Eep!

Sara - Last season went to Yankee Stadium all decked out.
We ended up in bleechers with a whole bunch of Sox fans and one drunk angry Yankee fan. He tried to start a fight with a bunch of Sox people. An older Yankee fan lady yelled at him and said he was an embarrassment..it was hilarious!

(the real embarassment though was when we walked out during the 7th inning cuz the sox got crushed. We had a lot of stuff thrown at us!)

I live near Toronto and it is always fun when the Sox come to play the Blue Jays.  A lot of fans come with them and it is so spectacular to see all the red shirted people in the stands.  Last year there were 2 sox fans sitting in front of me.  One of them was obviously a Varitek fan.  He had on his jersey, wore a catchers mask all through the game and wore his glove.  Too bad we beat the sox for them. 

Woot! Braves won again tonight... 8 to 4... That makes them 3-0 for the season....

always wanted to go to Fenway. Guess tv will have to do.

I'm honestly more of a Cubs fan, and until 2004 he and I could wallow in our misery together, but now.....Hoping both teams do well this year and maybe, just maybe....post season hopes as always. Can you imagine the domestic violence if they both made the World Series? good thing there's 3000 miles between us....

So pumped about the season.

Also pumped that i just moved in with my BF and he has a 65 inch high def lcd tv!!!!! WITH the expanded sports package on cable.

watching the sox right now. Manny just made a spectacular catch and saved a run. He's gotta be one of my favorite players. I'm jealous of your tv. I work for a travel company that furnishes my apartment and I think I have a whopping 22" tv .

damn...Off to a shaky start. I just hope they don't repeat last season, in first ALLLLL season long and then totally lose it at the end..

I guess with my screen name you can't tell which team I route for LOL!!!!!  We are currently putting a hurt on the Nationals  7 to zip and a rookie as the starting pitcher.  I am looking foward to this year!!!

I am a Royals and Red Sox fan, and actually was at the Dice K debut.  It was a great game, even though the Royals lost, and there was some good pitching on both sides.  Much to my husband's dismay since he doesn't like baseball to begin with, so he didn't feel like there was much "action."  It being 38 degrees out and windy didn't help much either.

I've always said that Cubs fans are better to date than White Sox fans, because Cubs fans are loyal no matter how bad things get. :-)

My boyfriend just (literally, as in, today) bought us tickets for this Sunday's game against Cincinnatti.  5th row, down the 1st base line.  I've never in my life sat that close to a baseball game.  I'm SO excited.

And dammit, I'm gonna have me a $4 hot dog and a $6 bud light while I'm there.  :-)

Please make the red sox fans go away!  No offense...being a New Yorker going to school in Boston driving my car during game times is not fun at all. 

My mother is from Boston, I grew up with no other option than to love the Sox, even though we're in Florida.  Love 'em!
