Baseball steamies anyone?

Quote  |  Reply
I am going to the ballgame tonight and want to try to avoid 'dogs and fries, pizza and all that stuff....

Is there a healthy alternative at baseball games? If anyone is familiar with amenities at Rogers Centre in Toronto that would be great!!!!

I've been logging everything and don't want to eat junk.

Look up the calorie counts here on the website, that way you'll have an idea of what they are... then plan to enjoy something at the game that will also stay within you cal count for the day
Thanks, I'll do that...
Not sure about Toronto, but I went to a Sox game at Fenway in Boston a few weeks ago and was surprised to find a grilled chicken sandwich.  It was simply a grilled chicken breast on a white bun, nothing fancy, but it wasn't really greasy or deepfried.  It was at one of the stands that also sold hot dogs, smokies, burgers, and deep-fried everythings.  Just take a look around and see what you can find,I guess!
Thanks tinamkz!!! I just hope that the concession at the game will offer something simple and not soaked in butter or covered in fat...

It's bad enough that I'm going to see my team lose!!!!
Hey tinamkz you're at MIT this summer? You're sort of by me when I head into boston for practices. I dated a guy this summer from MIT.

You can always go for some popcorn, definitely don't eat all of it but it is a low density snack that is low in calories... unless it is smothered in butter.
so what's the report, bd?  Find anything remotely healthy?  And who won????

yep, nini, I am!  It's weird 'talking' to someone on the internet and then finding out they're actually only within a few miles of you, hey?
