Basic Marinara Recipe

Ingredients
2 tsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove of garlic, crushed
28 oz diced tomatoes
2 tsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp dried oregano
Directions
  1. Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Once hot, add onion and sautee 3 minutes until soft. Toss in garlic and cook 2 more minutes.

  2. Stir in tomatoes (with juice), tomato paste and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, for about 25 minutes.
