Bay Area Get Together!

Okay.

I'd love to get together with a group of health conscious people and explore the city, go on hikes, find new places to eat, watch movies, etc,.

Problem is, I'm a bit shy when it comes to new people, in person. Thus, the internet is my refuge! Are there any other people in the bay area (San Francisco, Marin, Oakland, Berkeley, Daly City, Pacifica, etc,.?) who would like to join me for some friendly get togethers? 

This can be weekends or weekdays after work, either way, I just want to make new friends with people that are same minded when it comes to eating well (we won't go to BK or McD's!) and staying fit (while we may watch a movie, we can also go hiking earlier in the day!)

I work in SF 8-5 Monday through Friday. I live in Pacifica :) Anyone else want to join in the fun?

We can still meet at Cowgirl Creamery (hey, CC!) if you've already told your friend that. It would be easier for me, of course, so I'm all for it and then we could stick with the original time of 7:30.

I don't think anyone has a problem with where we meet either way.

OK then cowgirl creamery for us it is. If anyone else wants to meet at the hotel, then meet us at CC (haha), that'd be awesome too ^_^ Long as we're all together for the walk!

Sounds like a plan!  Cowgirl Creamery it is - got it!  7:30 am!  I STILL DON"T HAVE A COSTUME ARGGGGG!!!  But I found a Tiara and I'm thinking about going as a Phat Princess, lol.  I don't know what my friends Mick and Jola are going as but last Halloween they went to a party in the City as Old Billy Idol and a Goddess and they looked great.  We shall see!!

I hope we see nekkid people!!!  YAY Nekkid people with dangly jiggly things!  LMAO!!!  THAT WOULD BE TOO FUNNY!

Okay, I have exchanged phone numbers with you all so I think I'm set....  I'm bringing SNACKS for the race!!!  Pork Rinds and Coca Cola...  Uhhhhh, Fruit and water, yeah...fruit and water and power bars!

Is it just the four of us then (and our friends)?  Did anyone lurking want to join us?  I am going to try to get out of work a little early today to start packing for my trip(s). 

Is anyone going to the ING Greater Body expo to pick up their packet?  I am but not sure what time I am going.  I wonder what kind of stuff is going to be there.  I hope someone is handing out free pedometers, that would be cool!

Michelle and I are going at lunch today to get the packets at the expo :D It's literally a block from my work haha

My friend Dawn isn't going to join after all, so it'll just be me.  Look forward to meeting the rest of you!

I'm bringing Mick, Jola, and Lloyd, they are all signed up!!  I got to pack for both trips tonight and I plan to head in via BART tomorrow ayem by 9 or 10 am.

Michelle and I went...It was kinda crappy :\ Mostly it was just people selling shoes and clothes...We did get free vitamin samples though haha.

Where are the pictures?

We saw so many naked guys we started identifying them by their bodily attributes.  Like "Tall Naked Guy" and "Pierced Knob Naked Guy" and "Button Naked Guy"  and "Mole on Ass Naked Guy".   It was surreal to see a naked man calmly waiting in a long line of people for the restroom...

And yes, I have a few pics of them, but due to the graphic nature of the content, I won't be able to post them here!! LOL!

Adria, Michelle, Moogs and your friends and SO's, I truly enjoyed meeting you in person!!  We had such a great time, really really awesome experience seeing all the festivities.  The flying tortillas and the jello shots.  All the music playing and the house parties; the naked people, the dancing in the streets, the costumes, the finish line!!

We were so wore out at the end of the day, we crashed and napped in the hotel for about two hours. 

I kept thinking it would be easy to get a bus or cab back to the embarcadero, but we ended up walking about another mile into one of the neighborhoods and catching a MUNI bus, so about 10 miles all in all.  I was still sore up until yesterday when I broke down and bought some Ben Gay, Aleve, and Mineral Salt Soak for the tub.  Its all good, and was totally awesome!!!!

Michelle took some pics too and the official race photos will be online tomorrow I think.

Anyone read SF Gate? We were the youngest, drunkest, public defecatingest group of B2B'ers ever!

I want to plan an Angel Island trip in June! Anyone up for it? Dates? I'm going to BFD on the 8th and I think Michelle can't do the weekend of the 14th, but otherwise the month is wide open.

I think my weekends are pretty much open as well, and I'd love to continue doing monthly trips like that! Hurray Angel Island! I've never been :D

Thanks for the link to the pics, I sent the link to Mick, Jola and Lloyd and they got a laugh too as they were also surrounded by Naked Men.  Lloyd has one of him doing the Rocker Hand sign with an old man with a cane behind him, lol.
