very funny HK!

Mine is different every time I make it.  I don't like smokey flavors, so I leave out the liquid smoke that most BBQ sauces have in them.  I try for a balance of salty, sour, sweet and spicy, and I like a tomato base.

A typical mixture for me is tomato paste, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, ancho chile powder, hot sauce, ground cumin, onions, celery, bell peppers, jalapenos, cilantro, honey and brown sugar.  I cook it for a long time and then cool and puree it.  I taste it a lot to make sure I'm getting the flavor I want.  Sometimes I put in lime juice or frozen concentrated orange juice.  I want it nice a thick so it can be brushed on the food as it cooks.
hmmm.....that sounds good, claire.....will have to play around with it and make sure I can get an accurate count on the cals from the recipe analyser.....(Just love that tool).

And HK, the first recipe I saw, was for over 100 servings......not sure I could use all that up in a year........and yes, I am currently using the recipe with the car key you suggested.  However, reading the list of ingredients is kind of scaring me......
