I heard a Pink interview where she talked about a dinner party game she plays called BDG's ... Brag, Desires, and Gratitudes.  Each person shares at least one of each - helps us to remember that there are so many good htings in life even when things seem tough

Who would like to share a BDG?

BRAG - I ate SO balanced and light yesterday all day that I was able to have real oil popped popcorn last night as a snack .... without going over calories or carb counts for the day!  It was AWESOME!

DESIRE - that by the time I need to buy a new wet suit, I will not have to custom order it because of my size

GRATITUDE - Even tough I am technically overweight, I am fit and healthy, I am adventurous nad I am DONE having my weight stop me from doing things I want to do!  Like scuba dive!

BRAG - I woke up alive.  Its the best I could come up with.

DESIRE - Money.  We are running outta food.  Very hard-times.

GRATITUDE - We still have our home.

I'm very depressed today.  Doing my best, but it aint pretty.  This is a good place to come.  Glad I did.  Maybe I'll try again later.

mspw - my heart goes out to you!!  I am SO SORRY to read about your situation.  I will think so very positively that SOMETHING wonderful happens for you.

Brag - It has been a busy day and I have stayed on track nutritionally

Desire - that tomorrow - Thanksgiving Day - all is very tranquil

Gratitude - that these days are going well -- the amount of activity this week has surprised me -- I just thought it would be "normal ' days but there was always ...one more thing to do:) .. and I am GLAD all is finally done.

I look forward to a tranquil and peaceful and tasty day tomorrow:):)

Wishing you all a very HAPPY, SAFE and WONDERFUL Thanksgiving day:):)

BRAG - jogged and hiked today...on the beach

DESIRE - to feel happy and fulfilled

GRATITUDE -health, family, friends, a roof, and music

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!

I knew I hadn't been on in awhile...even to read....and what amazing stuff I've missed!  WOW!!  I love this site.  I really can't remember how I found out about it, but I am so glad that I did.  You all are amazing!!  No stomachs, amazing grades in school, home makeovers, keeping on track, and believe me those 19 years til retirement will fly by........LOVE IT!!!

BRAG - because of a minor physical ailment, I've not been able to work out at the gym...but I've stayed at goal and still feel really good about it.

DESIRE - That my CC buds have an amazing day today with family and friends and take the time to be truely thankful for what we have, whether it be a lot or a little.  (MSPW2 - you are in my prayers that things work out for you.)

GRATITUDE - For a loving family, a wonderful group of friends, good health and the faith (tho' sometimes it's hard) in a loving Father who watches over all of us.

Again, I sincerely hope that you all have an amazing day today (and for that matter, everydayWink) however you are spending it.  I love what foffles wrote .. thoughts like "One day won't hurt" are my downfall.  But, if you just think, "One day of good eating won't hurt me either"  Must keep that in mind.

Happy Turkey Day............Enjoy it all!!

BRAG - I'm the only woman on this planet who could keep up with my man.  I swear, sometimes he wears me out with his 4-hour long discussions on how to make manifest what we want, but I get it all.

I found a little scrawling of his on the desk I want to share with y'all.

  1. Quiet the mind.  REALLY!
  2. Produce a vision of the thing desired.
  3. Feel for it's resonance.
  4. Hold that resonance.

Ok...

DESIRE - That I can make that meditation work!

GRATITUDE - For all of you who took the time to read my posts and wished me well.  Thank you, thank you , THANK YOU!

Its a day of eating, for sure.  But my MIL and I are both working to lose wt so we can help support one another on not overeating.  I hope everyone enjoys themselves today and has lotsa leftovers!
