What is your BDG today?
I heard a Pink interview where she talked about a dinner party game she plays called BDG's ... Brag, Desires, and Gratitudes. Each person shares at least one of each - helps us to remember that there are so many good htings in life even when things seem tough
Who would like to share a BDG?
Brag - I have been at a calorie deficit for 4+ days in a row now, an accomplishment for a compulsive over eater
Desire - to see quicker results
Gratitude - I'm thankful for my job which gives me the money to be able to pay for my personal trainer and nutritionist!

Brag: I have managed to lose 5 pounds since the 1st of January. Very cool thing.
Desire: To get my W2's and pay some overdue bills. (I know pretty petty desire but that is what is on my mind.)
Gratitude: Very thankful for my family and for the job that my b/f has to support us all and make it possible for me to be a stay at home mom for our two year old.
Brag: I was HOTT last night, I mean freakin smokin man!
Desire: My desire of the day is to not go over 1,600 cals! Yay!
Gratitude: Thankful to my wonderful husband for all the emotional support he gives.
This is a fun one!
Brag- I have done cardio two nights in a row and did it for 30 minutes!
Desire-To be at home with my family instead of at work on a snow day!
Gratitude-My beautiful wonderful daughters. Without them I would be nothing and to feel their love is what keeps me going everyday.
Brag: i finished my master's thesis on monday.
Desire: an exciting, satisfying new career.
Gratitude: great friends, family, and my health.

Hey we all have diggerent BDG's daily - tomorrow mine might be about something completely different!

Today my
Brag: i had the will power to stop eating the M&M's.
Desire: is to stop wishing that i could go back to yesterday morning, just move on lol
Gratitude: is the new opportunities i have in my life atm

Brag: I have worked out everyday for the past 14 days straight
Desire: I want to weigh 145 pounds
Gratitude: I am thankful for the best boyfriend I could ever ask for
Brag - I managed to get up the past three days before class to work out.
Desire - to lose those pesky five, and build muscle mass instead
Gratitude - for God, who keeps me going! And my supportive family.
OOOO love this thread. I was just feelin kind of down, and this made me think, wait a sec I have alot to be happy about!
Brag- i ran the farthest i ever ran last week-woohoo 9 miles!
Desire- to be able to somehow get my butt to the gym tonight
Gratitude- that i am on track with my workload for once. oh and for cc!

Brag: Have stayed on my workout regimen all month!
Desire: Lose 8 pounds a month
Gratitude: My kids. Two boys who keep me *very* active and who provide me with every one of my reasons to stay on track!

Brag - I did the 1st day of the 30-day Shred, and still kept on doing it the next day! Day three today, and I'm still gunna do it!
Desire - I want my hubby home. He's in Iraq..boo.
Gratitude - I'm thankful for my new life here in hawaii and being married to my soldier.

Brag - I got my first journal article accepted for publication a couple of weeks ago; a few truly minor revisions, and my name (and ideas!) will actually be in print!
Desire - to survive midterms week? ;c) (Tons of grading, which I'm currently avoiding, plus office hours, plus my *own* midterm papers to write!)
Gratitude - my kind, silly, and drop-dead gorgeous sweetheart.
Brag - I've done 6 of my 11 scheduled work outs this week putting me on track for my triathlon training ![]()
Desire - a can of Pringles ... I mean the will power to resist going to get a can of Pringles today - LOL
Gratitude - for my bf who always believes in me

This is JUST what I needed today...
Brag- Working my behind off (literally) in the gym the past few months, and people are starting to notice....
Desire- To enjoy a weekend away with someone who makes me laugh....
Gratitude- That God will never give me more than what can be handled....

Brag: I made cookies with the kids and didn't eat ONE! Not even any of the cookie dough! This is an amazing feat, trust me.
Desire: For my DH to find a job in a different state, closer to our families. He was laid off a couple of weeks ago. :(
Gratitude: I am so lucky to have my supportive DH, 2 awesome kids, and my friends. I need them all in my life...you guys too!

Brag: i got my butt out of bed and completed my entire work out today at the gym... despite my tailbone STILL hurting from snowboarding
Desire: girl scout cookies. my mom just informed me that some of them are vegan haha. so i guess i also desire the will power not to eat the whole box in one sitting once i get them...
Gratitude: my new fling is turning into a little something more :)
Brag: That I have lost 13 lbs in a month and am proud of myself for doing so.
Desire: That I can one day work again and walk and run. Without pain would be nice too.
Gratitude: That someone gave us $200 today for my roomie to complete a deck job and we were able to pay towards keeping the internet on. I don't know what i'd do without support on CC and being able to log in my food.
Brag: I have not smoked for 17 days!![]()
Desire: I want a smoke. ![]()
Gratitude: I don't have any smokes. ![]()
Brag: I have lost 48 pounds in the past six months.
Desire: I want to get to 50 soon.
Gratitude: I am grateful to have a job that is flexible enough to allow me to be a full time college student, fully support myself, and still have time for my son.
