Ok- so I got suckered into ordering one- it looks great on the info-mercial-... And I figured I'm worth the 50 dollars- I tried one of those exercise balls without much success- though my 10 year old loves to roll around on the floor with it! The Bean even comes with a board that you put under it and attach those resistance bands- so I ordered those too...figuring I'm worth a total of 124 dollars! Now I can't wait for it to come! I was just curious if anyone else has it already and how it is working for you?

I saw the Informercial for it. I don't have one, though. Right now, I have access to a health club and that's good enough for me :D
LOL when I saw this post headline... I was like YEAH!! I do have a Bean!! (LOL sorry my dogs name is Bean) ....
What is a bean??? Sounds interesting.

It's an exercise object that is shaped like a bean but full of air- kind of like one of the balls but it doesn't roll all over the place. So you can do sit-ups, push ups etc...target your "obliques"... plus there's a board that fits under it that you can attach those resistance bands too so that you can do more excercises for your legs and arms... their website is bean.com if you'd like to look it up...
Infomercials are total rip offs!
I saw this on a commercial and the first thought in my mind was a ripoff of the "ab lounge" except it's shaped as a bean.
I could see it'd be good for people with back problems but for me personally, I'd just roll around with it on the floor like your 10 year old son does. XD I get entertained easily.

Well, ya gotta let us know how you like it when it arrives. The execise thingy I am interested in - I cannot remember the name - but the infomercial has Chuck Norris in it - I am thinking about getting one of those. Good luck with your Bean!!!
Jen,
Just wondering how everything worked out with "the Bean" you ordered back in September?
I'm always tempted to give it a try, but figure it will just end up as more junk in the garage. It looks a lot better than the ball; easier on the back etc.

I was going to order one, but before making the call, I checked out epinions to see what they had to say. It seems that an awful lot of them sprung leaks in a very short time and that patching was a huge pain. I decided to forgo the Bean due to those reviews.
