If any of you are like me, after-dinner snacking is a real temptation.  It is extremely hard for me to get through an evening not snacking on something and the more I try to put it off and ignore it, the larger the temptation becomes.

Last night I tried a little experiment after reading Mary Shomon's Thyroid Diet book.  I put 1 tsp of water soluble fibre (Benefibre) in my after dinner coffee.  I wasn't hungry all night!  No snacking!  And the plus side is you get 3 g of extra fibre which is important.

I just had to share this with everyone - it worked for me and maybe it can help some of you too!

That's a great idea!  I have found that when I have a high fiber or high protein snack after I eat dinner, I am less munchy and even sleep better.

Evenings are the absolute worst!  I tend to graze all evening.......
