I just thought I would try and experiment and say this publicly just to see if it makes me feel better. Here goes,"I am beautiful".
If you want you can try it too and see if it works. I think telling myself this everyday will help my image of myself and increase my motivation to get within a healthy BMI.
I AM BEAUTIFUL!
AND SO ARE YOU!
oh man this doesn't work for me haha. I wish it did! Every now and then, I'll think to myself, "I'm beautiful!!!" And then some girl will walk in who's far more attractive than I am, and then I feel ugly :(
I am way too competitive. That's what my problem is. I might be attractive to some people, but there will always be plenty of others way more attractive than I!
YES YOU ARE! and so am I. And everyone, in their own way. I truly believe that we all have beauty in us. Believe in yourself!

I think its important to know that BEAUTY is not necessarily attractiveness.
Being beautiful is more than your hairstyle or your clothes or your weight or even your face. It is how you carry yourself and how you feel and act and treat people. Its about confidence and knowing who you are and loving yourself.
I think this is a fantastic thing to throw out in the world. Kudos megham1!
I am worth every minute of effort I put into making me healthier. In fact I'm so beautiful I should dedicate more minutes of my day to healthier efforts!
Saying I am beautiful to yourself doesn't work all the time. Why? Because you invariably will find people who disagree with you and then you feel depressed.
It's far better to say "I'm content with how I look". No one can dispute that. My contentment is my feeling and no one can displace the feeling of another person with his/her own.
In my case I would say to myself "I'm happy with how I look, but I will be even happier if I get my BMI one point lower."
I'm with jef9up.
We are all Far more valuable than our container.
Physical attractiveness is all opinion, what is beautiful to some is hideous to others, and vice-versa.
I love the concept of saying "i am beautiful" outloud. What an amazing way to start the day!!
I AM BEAUTIFUL TOO!!!!! ![]()
(and so are you!)
girl u are beautiful so keep telling yourself that EVERYDAY.. I know im beautiful.. I tell myself that every day and i feel it everyday.. REGARDLESS of my size

Stop being so picky about yourself. Everyone has flaws. Why do you think supermodels wear so much makeup? Have you SEEN America's Next Top Model? Most of these girls are NOT attractive without being trained and then completely manipulated by makeup, lights, angles, and photoshop.
We stare at ourselves all the time in the mirror and over-analyze every little freckle, pore, and stray eyebrow hair. We spend more time looking at ourselves than anyone else. OF COURSE we notice every flaw we have. Most others probably don't even notice.
For every person you think is more attractive, there are 10 people thinking the same thing about you. Beauty is more than appearance, but be happy with yourself. Happy people are beautiful.
I AM BEAUTIFUL, and SO ARE YOU.
I don't like lying to myself.
Beauty is so much more than just good genes. Are you are happy and caring? Do you take care of your body? Do you take pride in your appearance? Do you carry yourself with confidence?
I wholeheartedly believe that the best beauty aids are good posture, a friendly smile, and a full night's sleep.
Stay beautiful, ladies!
YES! You are ALL Fabulous! You are ALL Strong! You ARE ALL Beautiful!
What really matters is how you feel about you. Believe in yourself.

I am Beautiful!
I know I'm too hard on myself! Im working on it :)
And guess what I've seen is that most of yall think there is a distinction between attractiveness and beauty. You can be horribly unattractive, but still beautiful in your own way. Is that what yall are saying? Are yall talking about inner beauty or outer beauty, or both? Because it is possible to be beautiful on the inside but not the outside and vice versa.
And yes, beauty is quite subjective. To one person you might be beautiful but to the next you could be considered hideous.

I don't really think there is such a clear distinction between inner beauty and outer beauty. If you are happy or friendly, you will smile and your face will look better. If you are confident and carry yourself with pride, you will stand up straight, and good posture takes off at least 10 lbs. I have seen plenty of people with nice facial structure or a toned body who are not attractive at all just because they spend their time scowling or hunched over.

I wish I could say I agree. I was horribly deceived by someone who appeared to be the nicest, funniest, kindest person in the world. She smiled a lot, complimented others, and seemed concerned with other's well-being over her own well-being. Then her true colors came out. I think those are the scariest kinds of people...those that can deceive others. Those that appear to be beautiful but really turn out to be horrible.
JCL, your profile pic is so kick a**. To be honest, I don't know too many women in real life who can boast a body like that. I would hate to be next to you on the beach. I would probably be bitter for a second. (Then, I would get over it, be confident and have fun
) I think it would be quite a shame for you to never quite realize how wonderful your bod looks till its' old and wrinkled cause you are comparing it to other girls who I am sure are doing the same with you.
Meh, I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm beautiful...
...but I have my moments. I can live with that.
I think u are. your eyes are especially.
Just say it for Gosh sake! Lol
