hi, i am new here. actuall started about 4 weeks ago. so far i have lost 5 lbs. i stick to a 1200 calorie a day diet and am starting to excersice. all my life i have taken care of others and now realize, due to doctors advise, that i need to take care of me. i have to lose about 25 - 30 pounds and quit smoking. i am trying so hard on the smoking. actually not doing bad at all. my heart however is paying the consequences for all the bad eating habits and smoking. but hopefully i can get better with the help of this site and some friends i hope to make here. so hello to all and best wishes and praises for all your efforts in reaching your goals.

Hi Flipboo,

I'm new here too.  And, like you, I have 25 lbs to lose.  I think this is a great site--and I'm excited about having it for the extra support I need.

I had a really good day today---I stayed right with my eating plan and did not eat anything extra! Yea!

I know  you are so proud of your efforts to stop smoking!  That's a wonderful thing and is, I think, just as important if not more important than losing weight.

Hello flipboo and bapcia,

How very nice to meet you both.  Have a great day and best of luck stopping smoking flipboo.
