Beginning another round of 30DS on 3-13

I'm starting a new round of 30 Day Shred. I'd like to officially begin on Friday, 3-13.

Sign up now and post your stats! Then we can post our final results between 4-11 and 4-13. 
I'll be posting daily total workouts as well.

Here we go! I started the 30 day shred on Monday 3/9.  Between Sunday 3/8 to today Wed. 3/11,  I have lost 7 lbs.  I know it is probably all water weight.  But it is nice to see the scale go down. I started on Monday walking my 2 dogs 1-2 miles a day then come home and do the shred.  It takes 15 minutes to do a dang mile! Had no idea the shred was going to be that hard on a level 1!!!! Shows how out of shape I am in. Started eating 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.  I have never eaten this much food.  I am use to eating 1 meal a day and never eating breakfast.  I guess Jillian is right, you do have to eat to lose weight! Will measure the rest if this body tonight.

Awesome. I would like to join..I'll post my stats tomorrow. I started doing the 30 day shred a few weeks ago and then got sick and have not done it since.  Can't wait to get started!

Hey Faithymom, I have a question for you...you've done this before?  Did you do it everyday? Or how many days a week....and did you see results?  Just curious

I have done it...I didn't do it every day, though. I found I could do it 3 days in a row before I needed a day off. However, I'm coming from almost no exercise so I think it'd be different for a more active person...and maybe even different for me this second time around.

Here are the results I got during the last 30DS:

Starting weight: 207 CW: 204  -3#

Measurements: chest:49  48.5  - .5"

below breast:40  38.5  -1.5"

waist:42.5  41  - 1.5"

hips-3" below waist:49.5   48  -1.5"

individual thighs:R:28 L:28  27 each  -1"

calves:R:17 L:16.5  R:16 L:15.75  - 1" and .75"

upper arm:R:15 L:15  15...no change...

Total weight lost: 3#

Total inches lost: 8.75"

Not bad, IMO...and like I said, I wasn't very diligent about getting the DVD done. I'm excited to see what will happen when I am!

I do have the DVD, and I'd like to have motivation to use it - but there's no way I can do it 7 days a week as I'm doing a strength training program 2-3 days a week.  If you don't mind that I'm only going to be able to do the DVD 3 or so times a week, I'll happily join.

I'll try to do measurements later on, I don't have a way to right now.

I did my day one today off YouTube but I didn't finish the last 5 minutes cause it cut off on me. It kicked my butt though. I don't know if I'm going to count today cause I didn't finish. I'm getting the DVD from Netflix but It has a short wait, which normally isn't very long at all.

My goal is to do the shred 4-5 times a week and hopefully will see some results in my measurements...I'm not as concerned about the weight it's more about how I feel.

I would like to participate too!  It's going to be different for me as I have other exercise classes throughout the week so I will only be able to do the DVD Tues & Thur.  Here are my measurements as a week ago:

It doesn't matter to me how often you do it. I don't plan on doing it for 30 days straight, myself. I'm going to log in how many days out of the 30 I do get it done like this

So tomorrow it'll be 1:1 for me.

 I hope to have at least 20:30 by the time we've completed this.

Well, I did it...1:1, I have a feeling I'm going to be really sore tomorrow so I may have to skip a day in between workouts.

I was 203 this morning and did a little happy-dance! I think that 12-13 in a month is doable for us. I'm ready for the serious I'm-out-of-the-200s dance!!!! Maybe next week?!?!?! :D

Thanks. Yea, I think it's doable too. I think we may be dancing together! :) I weighed just this morning and was so happy to see the 202.8!  I definately think next week we'll be dancing! I noticed our measurements are pretty darn close too! But, I wish I had your extra 5 inches on the bust! Haha!

Hello fellow shredders! Got a recipe for ya to check out, that is IF you are interested in a 73 calorie cupcake! Yum! Made them last night. Can't believe I was able to stop myself after eating just one, it took self control. They are heavenly!
