Belly Button Jewelry
Heyall!
Okay so back when I was over 150lbs I got my belly button pieced. My stomach didn't look terrible but it gave me motivation to flatten out. My stomach looks pretty damn sexy now and I need to get cuter jewelry. (around 136 right now)
Most of the crap online looks hella trashy (cherries, playboy, martinis). Where do you all purchase your belly candy?
BTW, I'm going to a rave for my birthday on june 27th, electronic daisy carnival, and I will definitely be showing my stomach. so excited!!! will I see any of you there?
Reason: Moved from Weight Loss to Motivation forum, thanks
Try this site, I love it.
First off, my birthday is June 26th!!! Wo Wo! How old will you be! Happy Birthday in advance! And as for "belly candy" as you call it... I would go directly to piercing places so you can even get it fitted properly because if you buy something on line the bar might be too big or too small. The ring I have in, I have had for 5 years... it's simple yet matches with everything & is actually a real diamond which is pretty cool.. I figured since it is, I might as well NEVER change it! ha ha!
Yay for the rave! I'm raving this friday - Basshunter =D Well, I've been to a couple of tattoo/piercing studios, and they have nice options there. That's where I'm going to get one =D
I usually get my belly rings at Ardene's (2 for $10-15!) they're so much to choose from... from simple to colourful to glow in the dark to dangly or sparkly, and yes there's some "trash" in the mix too with the playboy bunnies and cherries.. but to each her own, right?
I like the dangly one's, as long as they're not too dangly cause that just looks gross and could get caught on clothing and ripped out or broken
right now I am keepin it simple with a small blue butterfly one that my mom got me for christmas. It doesn't bother me or get stuck on clothes, so I don't have to worry about taking it out when I excersize

I'll be turning 19. Thanks for your help everyone!!!
Personally, I avoid Ardene's, or any other store that does not specialize in carrying body jewelry. The stuff they carry at Ardene's is VERY LOW QUALITY. I have over 30 different ones for my belly button, and each and every one of them has been bought from either a piercing/tattoo studio or one of the speciality body jewelry stores/kiosks (body mods, culture craze - 2 we have here in BC). They range in price from about $25-$60+, but at least I know what they're made of, and that they have been properly sterilized.
You get what you pay for.
