Benched!
Benched my weight +10 lbs last night.
First time EVER I could do that! I know, not a big deal to the pros here, but just had to put up that minor brag!
Wow - I am impressed! Good going! I know how you feel... i had a goal to deadlift 100 pds and I know that is not alot to some other people - but it felt great to me when I was able to do it! I was proud!

Hey, it's no small feat - I've got friends who've been strength training for years and still can't bench their bodyweight. I'd put you up top, but Ankow's got dibs for reaching her goal ;)
Thanks both - I was happily surprised, as I'd been afraid to try it, picturing the bar falling nearly unimpeded into my middle.

dude that rocks! I've been trying for a while to get up to that level, but so far I can only bench about 40 lbs (guuh guuuh, long way to go). i'm going to try and kick my own butt so I can try and get to my weight as well!
