BUMP!
I think it just depends on your nutrional needs...most of the time i just have some Total whole grain but sometimes i'll go as far as having hashbrowns (shredded potatoes fried in a skillet with just a quick spray of olive oil cooking spray), an eggwhite omellet with a little bit of salsa and a piece of multigrain toast. I here a lot of folks saying your breakfast should have a lot of carbs. But ofcourse there are conflicting views on everything so i'd do some research.
Personally, I like something whole grain for breakfast. Complex carbs take time to break down, so it keeps me going longer and gives me long lasting energy for the morning.
well i run after i wake up so i like somthin a little light on the stomach. i go with a protein shake and a half a cup of egg whites! yumm. good protein for ya

Two slices of wholewheat toast with a teaspoon of sweet william chocolate spread, a teaspoon of soynut butter/peanut butter and a teaspoon of jam, no added sugar. Plus a cup of Silk soymilk! About 300 cal..
for me it's a bowl of cut up fruit (strawberries, blueberries, bananas, grapes) and a bowl of kashi golean with 1/2 cup of light vanilla soy. MMMM, i had it for breakfast, but i sure can eat it for dinner again.
one apple chopped
1/2 cup dry oatmeal - regular stuff - funny guy on box
cinnamon sprinkled generously to stabilize blood sugar
3/4 cup H2O
microbalst for 3 minutes - sprinkle with splendah - enjoy
holds me for hours.

Luna bars are the best. :]
Egg-white omelettes are really good, too.

I eat one cup of Fiber One Honey Clusters with a 1/4 cup skim milk. Under 200 calories, loads of fiber and a yummy start to my day. Sometimes I also have a Dannon Light n Fit yogurt. And I always have my coffee (skim milk, one splenda). Not too shabby I don't think.
OMG get two of those whole grain rice cakes (quaker?) maple brown sugar variety, two tbsp of natural peanut butter and create ONE SEXY SANDWICH. I brought that thing to lunch once and EVERYONE who walked by and smelled it was like "OMG someone's eating something good!" Try it. I DARE YOU.
my mums a doctor so she says its healthy to include all food groups, so a good breakfast is a boiled egg with soldiers (toast sliced into fingers, spread with butter if you like)..because it has carbs and protein. I alwys have a carby breakfst..usually i cant be bothered with eggs so i have cereal. I love cereal it just ROCKS but for some reason i hate the sugary kind except for honey nut cheerios. they dont fill you up at all and you can fill the bowl right to the top and it still doesnt feel like enough!
so i usually have fruit and fibre, sultana bran, muesli, shreddies, or sometimes weetabix...i like brown foods naturally, except for brown rice or pasta...ugh :(
oh and toast rocks. i have toast if i dont have cereal. and sometimes when i feel like a change or i can be bothered to go buy it i get a bagel and jam or a crossiant and coffee :):):mmmmmmmmmm

I like having 2 scrambled eggs, and a whole wheat english muffin with a bit of grape jelly. About 300 calories and it fills me up!
I'm a teen so i'm still growing. Heres one of my typical breakfasts:
2 slices of multigrain french toast and instead of syrup, I use a little bit of honey. Did you know its good for the ammune system?
1 cup of 100% orange juice
1 banana
1/2 cup low fat blueberry yogurt

Don't drink juice. It's full of sugar, usually processed through something and it's been sitting in a plastic bottle for god knows how long. Eat a whole piece of fruit instead which gives you lots of nutrition and fiber and water. And it's fresh. It's natural.
I eat like 2 egg whites, soy patties, some oatmeal with berries and maybe a yogurt. Sometimes also french toast or waffle. I know, I eat a lot. I love breakfast.

Nature's Valley granola bars....the crispy ones. And two cups of coffee with vanilla soy milk and 1/2 packet of splenda.
The granola bars hold me for a while....maybe it has something to do with that complex carb stuff?

I work a 5-11 hour day with only 1 supper break so before I go I drink one of Dr. Oz's Magic Shakes (Looked it up through Oprah's website). But substituting strawberries for blueberries and entering it as a recipe on here, its only 70-80 calories. I usually eat that with a small bowl of oatmeal and it keeps me full and satisfied.
Also.. I got the chocolate soy powder stuff on accident and it is good with the strawberry/banana recipe. Also I ran out of bananas the other day and just used 1/2 c. frozen peaches instead of bananas and strawberries. It was great!

I like 1/2 cup oatmeal cooked with 1/2 cup of pumpkin, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, some sweetener and some water. Super filling. First thing I have found that fills me up til lunch time.
Although I am not a big juice person myself I don't see anything wrong with a glass for breakfast. Orange juice has tons of vitamin C. Although fresh fruit is always better I think she should be commended for all the healthy choices she made. So what if she drank orange juice from a bottle? Lol. I only wish I had eaten half as well as a teen!

1/2 cup dry oatmeal with 1 cup of water, microwaved for 2 minutes in a 4 cup capacity pyrex measuring cup....a generous sprinkling of cinamon, 6 walnut halves, 12 raisins, and a splash of 1% milk....i find that this holds me until lunch.....delicious....
