What is the best candy/ candy bar/ sweet for you?
I always want to buy candy at my school, but I want to know which is best. They have just about EVERY candy and candy bar availiable that doesnt contain peanuts or peanut butter. From Nerds, to skittles, to hershys to nerds ropes to taffy. ( I DO NOT LIKE TWIZZLERS.)
I usually get the YORK mint patties, there low fat and 140 calories. Anything better? Will I gain weight if I eat one YORK pattie a day?
I think the non-chocolate things are usually lower in calories, but they usually contain an obscene amount of sugar. From what I've heard peppermint patties are usually the best thing. If you wanted something specifically look it up on CC. And as long as you aren't taking in an EXTRA 140 calories over your limit from your candy, you won't gain by eating it.
Aren't three muskateers lower in fat/a few less calories?
i love snickers and sometimes i get the fun size pack from cvs and eat some...they're so delicious.

PEANUT ALERT! PEANUT ALERT! AHHH!
:P The first post asked about peanut-free bars.
I would say Hershey's chocolate bars, because you can break off a square and then close the wrapper. Just because candy bars come in such big sizes doesn't mean you have to eat so much. Often, a little square of chocolate is enough to stave off a sweets craving. And you should NEVER use sweets to satiate actual hunger. Eat some veggies until you're full, then have a little bit of chocolate to satisfy your psychological desire.
i like PRIA bars, made by powerbar. they have 110 calories, protien, lots of vitamins, and are sweet, just like candy bars. Lemon flavor, and vanilla chi flavor are my favorites. They cost $.77 each at the walmarts.
well, I like skittles because you can eat each one individually and they take a while to eat!
The different flavors are also fun.
White Chocolate, Candy Corn, Caramel Creams!!
This isn't a candy bar you're likely to find at your school but you can get it from grocery stores and bring it with you to satisfy your sweet tooth. It's called cocoa via. Only eighty calories;with plenty of vitamins and nutrients. They are made with dark chocolate and have almonds. I find them delectable!
This probably isn't what you had in mind, but if you need a sweet fix during the day, try bringing a small box of raisins to school with you.
They aren't ideal diet food but they at least provide some fiber and nutrients with their calories and the small boxes are a nice way of portion controlling.
Uhhh.... No offense, but if you're on a diet, why are you buying candy every day?
I have the mini boxes of raisins which are pretty much an ideal diet food. They're tiny, good fiber, natural sugar, 45 cals a box and I think they get a B+ on here.
oatmeal raisin cookies are probably the healthiest cookie possible, what with having fruit and nuts and oatmeal in it... :)
