The best grocery store ever
Have any of you ever been to Whole Foods grocery store? I just discovered this place yesterday, and let me tell you... that place is awesome. It is like a starbucks version of a healthy grocery store. All they sell is organic foods, and on their website they have all types of recipes for all types of diets/ or healthy changes. I have always heard that they are a little more pricy than other stores, but they really aren't. They just had their grand opening here yesterday, and I had to check it out. If anyone has one in their area, I recommend shopping there. Just thought I would let everyone know.

I love Whole Foods - was just there a couple of days ago. Especially impressive is their prepared foods section ... some seriously tasty stuff there!
Looking forward to feasting on a Moroccan chickpea salad for lunch that I picked up there....yum!

Moroccan chickpea salad... that sounds good. They have such a nice meat selection too. I am so excited I have one in my area now, and a new grocery store.
Seriously...and they have those beautiful full color ads with so much yummy, healthy food!
Sometimes I just wander around in there for a while, just to see what interesting foods I can come across.

I was there yesterday! There are certain things I buy there and have to walk through the store with blinders on so I won't be tempted to blow my budget on fancy cheeses and other goodies.
I like their store brand (365) of olive oil, coffee beans - I get the No Buzz decaf beans, unsalted tortilla chips, and their version of wheat thins. Great quality and good prices too. I also can find unsalted canned tuna and other salt free items. This time I bought the Whole Kids brand of frozen waffles to try. I could use a little variety at breakfast.
As for the prices - they carry things that are expensive such as organic fruit and vegetables, and that tuna I mentioned costs way more. However, some prices are lower than you find in supermarkets and everything is very fresh. I don't do my regular grocery shopping there, but I go about once every 6 weeks to stock up on my favorites that can't be found anywhere else.

Don't forget about Trader Joes! If there is one in any one's area- they have some great healthy foods- they have grass fed beef there and lots of organic fruits and meats- And their prices aren't too bad- the closet one to me is 30 minute drive but I found out by the end of the year- there will be one 10 minutes from me:). I'm sooooo excited!
I'm moving soon, and one of my favorite things about the place we signed a lease on is that it's about 5 minutes from a Whole Foods. :) I can't wait!!
We have a whole foods here in Las Vegas - but it's about a 30 minute drive for me.....there is a new one going up just 5 minutes away - I can't wait!! I love that place!
