Does anyone use an indoor grill? I'd like to buy one. I was originally considering Xpress Grill or BigBossGrill (yes, influence of infomercials
) but reviews weren't that good. Now I am considering Cuisinart Griddler Jr. (GR3). However, it seems that there are always people who had bad experiences with no matter which one I choose. I just like to hear from people who are using it at home. Thanks in advance.
I love my george foreman. Easy to use, easy to clean, cooks everything evenly with no flipping. I think, could be wrong, but I think that they even have george foremans now with interchangeable flat plates if you want to use it as a griddle.
Hey. My boyfriend and I use an indoor grill a couple times a week and we went with the Sanyo XL Indoor Grill. We went with it based strictly on reviews (purchased almost a year ago?), and so far it's worked great.
In my opinion it works just as well as an outdoor grill.
Hope this helps.
I have the largest George Foreman and love it. I probably use it 3 times a week. The griddles pop out for easy cleaning.
i have the george forman grill with the removable plate , easy to use easy to clean the best
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Cuisinart Griddler. I use it nearly every day. It was definitely worth the money.
It works as a panini press, grill AND griddle all at the same time. The temperature controls are very accurate, it heats up really quickly and it does not lose heat once you've added your protein (which has happened to me with the Foreman grills). Things do turn out like you were genuinely grilling them. I have never had a chicken breast or fish fillet come out dry, unlike on the Foreman Grill.
Also, the griddle plates make the BEST pancakes, just holds to the exact temperature you need to get them a little toasty on the outside but still fluffy and not dry.
As for cleaning, food does not stick to it and it cleans in a snap - hot, soapy water is all you need. I 100% recommend it.
I use the large Foreman with the removable grill plates. LOVE IT!
oh, and heres a good tip. Look around at Good Will stores, Salvation Army type stores. They usually have one, barely used, and cheap. Paid $6 for my last one.
Thank you all!! You are the best!! Now, I need to decide between Sanyo, Cuisinart, and Foreman
but I am sure I will be safe with any of those!! Also, thanks for the tip re. Good Will type stores. I am sure this grill will help me to eat meats and other stuff in healthier ways.
Indoor grill like the George Foreman don't work well. Try getting a Grill pan from macys. They cook better, sear the food, and leave the food tasting great without drying it out which most indoor grills do. With the grill pan you can making really good veggies too.
