QUEEN'S LIFE AID ALBUMN/LIVE = that's all I need to get me going! Diane - Nevada.
Or if not: Bob Segar's NINE TONIGHT - do both, and you'll be sore the next day! Smile - Diane - Nevada
Any Clubland Extreme Hardcore for Cardio - the faster the BPM the faster it makes me work out.
Slipknot or In Flames for weight lifting and Boxercise - nothing like a bit of rage for lifting heavier or punching harder!
I actually love Disney Soundtracks. Like Hercules, Mulan, Tarzan, Aladdin, and A Goofy Movie.
People think I'm weird, but I just get so pumped when I hear "Go the Distance" or "Make a Man out of You."
Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, White Stripes, Rage Against the Machine, Wolfmother etc.
I like to listen to stuff I can sing along with when I'm on my bike at home. It doesn't go over so well at the gym though. But I find I get even more of a workout If I'm trying to belt out some Dave Grohl screams while I'm pedalling away. LOL.

I am a big fan of the new emoish/punkish/ pop music when I work out.
Like: Fall Out Boy, The Killers, Boys Like Girls, Panic! at the Disco, etc. It is relatively fast-paced and bouncy. Hip hop is decent for that too, Missy Elliot, Justin Tiberlake, etc.
Black Tide-Shockwave
Icon of Coil-Fiction
Grand Funk Railroad-Footstompin' music
Pat Travers Band-Snortin' whiskey (live)
Saga-On the Loose
RIOT-Swords & Tequilla
Symphony X- Domination
Dick Dale-Nitro
Alice Cooper- Elected (tis the season)
Indigenous-Shame, Shame
etc....
Threshold Apprehension - Frank Black (of Pixies fame)
Freak Scene - Dinosaur Jr.
Graveyard Shift - Uncle Tupelo
Smallpox Champion - Fugazi
16 Days - Whiskeytown
Pavement Saw - Big Black
We've Got Your Money - Big Boys
Rehab - Amy Whinehouse (out of place on the list, but still good)
Daft Punk is Playing in my House Tonight - LCD Sound System
i totally agree with the faint. pretty much all of their stuff is perfect for a light workout. on sweaty days i grab and album by Static-X. their latest is perfect. heck, all their stuff is perfect. Noisex is good too if i want no lyrics.
I guess I am "old school"...my mp3 player starts out with a few Prince songs.. mostly from Diamonds a Peal cd.....PUSH is a good one.....then I like Bee Gee's...Jive Talkin, Tragedy, Stayin Alive......I mix in some others like Lady Marmelaid, Survivor, The Bongo Song.....for a cool down I like James Taylor, Steamroller and Mellow Yellow.....
This works for me anyway
Definitely some remixed techno songs of newish pop songs if im getting ready for a real aerobic workout, but here's some other songs I love to work out to:
Voodoo Child, We're Coming Home, Don't You Wanna Feel and I Never Liked You all by Rogue Traders (with Natalie Bassingthwaighte)/This Heart Attack by Faker/Burning For You by B.O.C/All Around Me and Cassie by Flyleaf/ Boston by Augustana/Wheel in the Sky by Journey/Rag Doll by Aerosmith/Scars by Papa Roach/Long Time by Boston.
Kind of an eclectic mix but they're all awesome to work out to, especially Papa Roach.
Okay I'm 14 and I do a LOT of training for rowing, and some songs I find myself being pumped up to are (Bearing in mind there are way more but these are just off the top of my head) :
Uprising - Muse
Remember The Name - Fort Minor
Pump It - Black Eyed Peas
Feeling Filthy - Unknown
Silly Boy - Eva Simons
Show Me The Money - Petey Pablo
Anything By The Prodigy, but some faves - Take me to the Hospital, Spitfire, Hotride, Voodoo People
RATM (Anything, but again some faves) - How I Could Just Kill A Man, Killing In the Name, Fistful of Steel
Love Game - Lady Gaga
See You Again - Miley Cyrus
Move Along - AAR
And that's only what I can think of right now =]
