my current fave is..

Greenday- Holiday

older, but a gooder!

OK- I don't even like hip hop music, but Pon the Replay by Rhianna made its way onto my mp3 player last year and I never delete it. Because whenever it comes on I find a way to boogie through the whole song.

Low Low - Flo-Rida

Push & Bent - Matchbox

What if - Creed

Mony Mony - Billy Idol

Lately I've downloaded a bunch of latin dance stuff.  Santana, Shakira, Marc Anthony, Ricky Martin, Elvis Crespo, etc.  That kind of beat just keeps you moving!

My other workout playlist has some good tunes as well.  Foo Fighters- Monkey Wrench.  Lady Gaga- Just Dance.  Rushlana- Wild Dances.  Matchbox 20- Disease.  Disturbed- Liberate.  Jimmy Eat World- The Middle.

Anything loud and repetitive by Queens of the Stone Age or Rage Against the Machine.

And I've Been Everywhere by Johnny Cash when I'm on the treadmill. Lame, but it pushes me to keep going. :)

I don't know what I'd do without music to help me workout. I usually listen to whatever is on my zune. I made a playlist, that i sometimes listen to or just shuffle all the tunes. I've been listening to the Audition a lot. Some of my music is fast paced, but some are not. It really doesnt matter what, I just need music when I'm walking, jogging, etc.... My life wouldn't be complete without music!!!

Rilo Kiley, Vampire Weekend or TV on the Radio!

Basically the entire Head Automatica CD, it pumps me up!

I love country but will listen to all types of music....current favs

It Happens ~ Sugarland
Shoudlve Said No ~ Taylor Swift
She's A Hottie ~ Toby Keith
Marry for Money ~ Trace Adkin

A good song to run with that has a good beat is Song of Love by Rebecca St. James.

Good motivational music with menaingful lyrics help you to concentrate on what you're doings as well as keep you going through the work out. Eye of the Tiger and Walk This Way by run DMC are good too.

The best way to end a run with one last sprint or push is to Outkast - Ghettomusik.  Also, I like listening to Britney Spears (newer songs) and think about how rockin her body was pre-meltdown.

I'm a sucker for beats that make me want to punch someone OR dance while I'm working out, so I've got everything from Slipknot, Eminem, Bon Jovi, and Black Eyed Peas on my shuffle :).

Thank you for this post. Music sometimes can make or break my workout. When you work out everyday...the same music can get really watered down after a while. Currently.....

Remix of The Outfield's 'Your Love'

Any Britney Spears remix

Lil Mama/Avril Girlfriend remix (random)

Kelly Clarkson - My Life Would Suck Without You

Mostly punk music & British rock

New to the music scene but tons of high energy music that pushes me waaaay harder, especially when running, is Lady Gaga--

give "Just Dance" a try and then go from there!

Some good tunes here!

I love the Beautiful Liar by Beyonce and Shakira dance remix, mainly because it makes me think "hell yeah I could so look like one of them if I keep going!" haha.

Mainly I listen to indie/rock stuff tho including Forward Russia, At the drive-in, Biffy clyro, RATM, Alexisonfire, erm other stuff I can't think of

Also someone above mentioned Outkast - Bombs over Baghdad, this gets me through literally anything!

 classic.

that one's a given.. i've had it on my playlist since it came out!

I'm going to have to say "Say it Right" by Nelly Furtado works awesome for me. Weird. I know.

I love Billy Idol's White Wedding album

white wedding, mony mony, hot in the city and more.

For those of you who like to workout to rock music instead of dance music, I highly, highly recommend All Time Low or Cute is What We Aim For.

Their music is fast and great for the treadmill/elliptical. It's pretty much all I listen to at the gym.
