Best time of day to eat carbs?
Anyone think... that eating carbs at dinner doesn't help your weight loss? I know this sounds odd but I try and eat my carbs at breakfast or lunch and then be carb free for dinner. I find this works best for me.
Am I making this up in my head or could it really work?
I find that eating carbs (i.e. kashi cereal) in the morning keeps me craving carbs throughout the day, whereas if I eat some kind of protein (egg whites and cottage cheese) in the morning, I don't crave carbs as much during the day..
I generally eat carbs for breakfast and pre/post workout. Low GI carbs for breakfast and pre workout, high GI after workouts. Also, I always combine them with some sort of protein.
Technically the earliest in the day and pre-workout
Always eat protein post-workout
I said technically b/c I eat fruits during the entire day lol
