I like herbal essence :D
Not sure how great it is for hair (makes my hair soft) but it's not too overpowering in terms of smell and has a nice bottle too (Though, they changed it in some stores to not being see through).
Ew. None of the above.
Try one without such harsh detergents. It's hard on your scalp, for real. Or, try using a silicone free conditioner to wash your scalp. Suave is cheap. Rub a bunch on your scalp, let it sit bit a bit, then rinse.
Shampoos don't really thicken your hair, it's oils (unless u want to go n buy some brand that promises to thicken your hair). Just go to the phamacy n look for different oils - they usually state on the bottle that it stimulates hair growth. And Dove have a shampoo for damaged hair - doesn't help much, but the hair looks fuller and they promise to stop hairloss in a few weeks of usage.
Don't buy pantene...it has floor wax in it. It will make your hair look all shiny for a while, but once the build up of floor wax gets too much, your hair will break.
My favorites

I use pantene... and the wax stuff true? I mean it might explain why my hair is so easily snappable after just two months without a haircut. I don't know what shampoo to use now. And I'm never shelling out big bucks for some crap I put in my hair to make it pretty, I'm in college, that could go towards food or something.
I love Pantene. My hair has never broken. I get a cut about every 6 weeks. I color my hair too, so I use the color shine/protectant one. My hair is always shiny. Not oily. I have thick hair already naturally, so I'm not keen on buying the ones that add body.
I use pantene and have for many years. Mine is healthy, shiny and strong. I only get it trimmed about once a year.
One difference may be that I only wash with shampoo and conditioner about twice a week. The rest of the time it just gets a rinse.
