getting on a better schedule and better eating habits
I am 21, college student and work part time. I can't usually eat breakfast for some reason, I just wake up and don't have a desire to eat. By lunch time I am either in class or at work so I just kind of skip that. By dinner time is when I usually eat and more often than not it will be fast food (Taco Bell is my achilles tendon). I usually eat out because the family does not, in my own opinion, stock the fridge or pantry with those staple ingredients. There is usually not much in either that seems appetizing or useful.
I would like to try and maintain not only healthy eating habits but eating schedule also. I am looking for tips and past experience on this. I would love to hear if anyone is like me and what they did or what has happened with them?
Reason: 12/9/08: Stickied for a week 12/15/08 unstickied.
This might sound really obvious, but couldn't you just use your part-time job money to buy your own food to cook at home rather than eating out or relying on your family getting what you want? If you don't eat break or lunch then you're gonna be so hungry that you'll be less inclined to take the time to cook and are also likely to overeat, IMO. Sooo ... start eating both additional meals! Oh, wait, that was your problem ...
