Big Brother 9

I am so excited about Big Brother 9 airing in Feb...I think this is going to be a very good show...I heard Dick is going to be back...I really hope so.

What do you all think is going to happen in this season?

that'd be so freakin awesome if dick came back. he was so entertaining last season. i wonder if he and danielle still maintain a relationship or not. i bet he gave her some money :)

I didn't know it was gonna start in Feb. this year thanks for the heads up. I have been watching this show for a long time so I am excited. And it would be nice if Dick is back. He was a favorite in this house.

I loved Survivor as well I wish they would be a back to back season for Survivor and Big Brother...that would be so awesome...We would never have to worry about being bored again

I hope Danielle  comes on in one of the POV compitetions that would be so cool...

it would be cool to see them. i wonder if they're going to have another america's player? it would kinda be pointless though, since it wouldn't really be a secret.

I am pretty sure Dani and Dick still have a relationship. They even went to Disneyland together. I think though his relationship with Vince is strained. I just know this because they are myspace friends.

I think they are doing it February because of the writer strike.

My favorite show.  My entire family enjoys the show. If Dick comes back it will be interesting. I hope Danelle doesn't come back though. It would be fun to see how Dick's strategy changes without Danelle to protect.

Yeah, that was all a bit freaky, wasn't it? Very akward. I sort of felt bad for James. I'm not a huge fan of Natalies, but I felt for her too.

there isn't a single likeable (or even entertaining) person in the house this year.  boring boring boring.  i might have to resort to liking adam.

Agreed, pgeorgian! I'm not rooting for any of the lot. Do you watch American Idol as well? What a boring season! I don't really care who gets voted out. Same with Survivor. Maybe it's time for some of these shows to be put out to pasture. Hopefully not paving the way for shows like Amnesia or that one about telling the truth (not sure of the name of it, but why do these people go on that show???)

the writers' strike may have killed reality TV.  either that or the US has run out of interesting (not to mention talented) people.

i specifically avoid the shows that seem to have a primary goal of humiliating people, so i haven't watched any of the new ones.  i also avoid the dating ones.  the microcosm ones have been interesting, but yeah, it's worn off.

i love the amazing race.  even better, there was a canadian-produced adventure race show a few years ago--can't remember what it was called--where instead of competing, they had to work together to complete real (not contrived) adventure travel tasks.  it didn't make the cut, because it was filmed mostly on the north pacific (they went from seattle to alaska), so there were no bikinis.

i agree. american idol has lost its likeability this season. a little bit, at least. and i haven't even been watching survivor. this is the first season we havent watched of it! i think its because this isn't its normal season, so we don't really have time for it.

i've watched the one about people telling the truth. its so overly dramatic and ridiculously plotted.

oh well.

chelsia is crazy man i mean literally crazy i liked her until i saw her litteraly go from sane to insane never liked the james guy hope he goes this week i want a-baller to win lol i remember the first episode i didnt like him at all it hough he looked like a beever but he grew on me. I wanted alex to win but ya didnt happen.

I never saw that one but I remember my brother mentioning it. Was it on CBC or Discovery? My brother hates reality shows with a passion but liked this one because it was what he called actual reality. That's probably also why it got canned- not enough drama?

it started out on one of the american networks (i think it was a joint production) as well as...i can't remember.  maybe ctv.  the american network dropped it halfway through, and i think outdoor life might have picked it up for the rest of the season.

it actually had quite a lot of drama - just not the kind you typically see on these shows.  the competitors were athletes and normal people rather than crazy camera hounds, you know?  wish i could remember what it was called.  they did cool things like sea kayaking and mountaineering.  in one episode, they crewed a tall ship.  so cool.
