Hi,

Just thought I would post to say hi, make myself known, and to make ME stick to my new plan to lose half my body weight Embarassed. I went to Gran Canaria for xmas, and have booked to go back on 22nd Dec for 2 weeks, so I plan on being able to go out and buy myself some NICE new clothes and 2 piece swim sets. Thats the plan anyway, I have a few things hindering me on this journey, but Im hoping that by joining up with you guys, I can get some boosts and also share stories, hints, tips, highs and lows with you.

Im 34, a single, separated mum of 1 15 yr old son, living in the UK. I am on this site to help me reach my goal, not to date! Tongue out

I have started a journal on here too, so if you want to read it feel free.

Im up for making some new friends too so I look forward to hearing from you :)

Kat

Good luck on the task ahead. Just remember not to get discouraged. The weight is not who you are its what you are. I've realized that How much you lose you still feel the same inside. I think the only way to change this is by positive encouragement from other people to let us know we will be different. I've struggled up and down for the past 5 years with this. I seem to get to that perfect weight just to fall back into it all again. It seems there are some nice people on here so I think this may be a good deal.

Hey Kat,

I too am new to this site. Not the dieting scene though. I have tried several fad diets and even weight watchers, but lack of money, I too am a single mom, keep me from being able to afford the gym membership or the weight watchers fees. I am hoping that I can do this on my own, with my sons help. I have two boys 8 and 6 and they are very supportive of me, including working out with me. Working out is the hardest part for me. I hate it. I am trying to loose about 45 pounds, so I would love to be a new friend to chat with when it gets rough or to support you when you suceed. Give me a shout.

Hi Kat I'm in the UK too and 34 am about to go to bed, but will look out for you tomorrow and stop by for a chat.
