Start drinking more water, lay off the salt and any veggies that might give you gas.

-Go out for a run

-Don't chew gum

-Don't drink carbonated drinks

loads of water, for sure.  try to avoid things with huge amounts of sodium, as well as chewing gums and carbonated beverages.  Lean meats, such as chicken and salmon, are good things to eat the day of, and maybe try to fit in a workout before you head out so you'll be looking your most toned, and feeling those endorphins.

Have fun :)

in general it's best to eat a balanced diet to reduce bloating...

too much sodium

excessive fiber intake

not enough fat

too many bulky veggies

not enough protein

too much dairy

artificial sweeteners

chewing gum

carbonation

all of these things can contribute to bloating and make you appear puffy and fat because your body retains water or your bowels empty slower than normal due to improper digestion.

So in general follow these rules to look your best at all times and not to mention improve your health!!

Don't chew gum?????  Seriously?  Why?  I'll be very sad if gum is what makes me bloated on occasion.

eternal_capture: you tend to swallow air when you chew gum, or just excessively chew in gereral, which can cause bloating. Also, the artificial sweeteners in a lot of gum cause tummy upset.

fruit does bloat!!  so would rich food...dairy is very bloating as stated earlier - it binds to any food in your gut so it doesn't come out quickly...gross but true unfortunately...some ppl find wheat bloats.  I am allergic to wheat/oats/rye and I only just came down with the allergy last year when i turned 21, so totally adult onset which was so weird!  i was bloated all the time coz wheat's in EVERYTHING and i had no idea why!!  I used to help it by drinking peppermint tea and I absolutely SWEAR by it - it is amazing...just fixes any tummy issues like upsets, bloating etc. tastes good too!!
