Biggest Loser Challenge Part 5 - Official Weigh In Thread


Here are the official rules. We weigh in every Wednesday. You will be responsible for weighing in. I am not going to track anyone down for weigh ins. If you miss three weeks in a row of weighing in then you will be eliminated. I will assign people to teams randomly and there will be three to four teams depending on how many people show an interested. For those who miss a weigh in your previous week's weight will be counted towards that week. This way no team is hurt or helped by someone not weighing in for the week.

Teams are more than welcome to start their own team threads and talk amongst teams but we ask that you start these team threads in the games forum. This is where the chat threads should be.

You have until Dec. 17th to sign up for this challenge. After that I will not add anyone to the challenge. You will have to wait until the next challenge starts up. This challenge will last 12 weeks. I will calculate results by the amount of pounds lost not percentage. We tried this last challenge and it ended up being about the same. I will post results hopefully by Sunday but not later then the following Monday after weigh ins. Again this is because I am not sure how many people will be interested.

If you sign up please make sure that you are willing to commit to the entire 12 weeks. I can understand dropping due to special circumstances but it can get frustrated when half the people who signed up dropped after a week. However, I do encourage anyone to participate. Just please think about your team members before you drop out of the challenge. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me on here or send me an email at the address in my profile.

I will update a team roster from the previous thread in the weight loss forum later on today. Everyone has been included up until this point. I also extended sign ups for another week because of having to move the sign up thread and some personal circumstances that did not allow me to start the thread right away.

Is this still open registration?  If so, I would like to get in.

I'd like to give it a go as well.

I have updated the thread to include everyone up to this point.  I will be assigning teams on Tuesday December 18th.  Please feel free to sign up for this challenge until Monday December 17th.  Let me know if anyone has any questions.  Please make sure your name is on the list.  I have put them in alphabetical order to make it easier for you to find your name.  Let me know if I missed you and you had previously signed up.  I tried to get everyone from both threads after the other one was locked.  Thanks for all of the participation up until this point. 

This thread will be only used for weigh ins and results once the challenge starts.  I encourage all teams to start their own chat thread once the challenge begins and teams have been assigned.  Please tag this thread so you know where to weigh in each week on Wednesdays.

I'm all in.  I just started watching the Biggest Loser these year, and Love it.  I can't believe that the Black team is the strongest team.  But than again, I can.  Because they had more motivation than any one else to want to stay in the game, since they were almost kicked out of the game from the very beginning.

Tonight is the last night for sign ups so if you are going to sign up now would be the time.  After tonight I will assign teams and then I will not be able to accept any new participants.  The first weigh in will begin on Wednesday.  If you do not weigh in for your first weigh in then I will not be able to count you in the challenge so please do not forget to weigh in on Wednesday.  I do accept late weigh ins up until the point that I post that I am working on results.  This allows a few days of hectic schedule changes because I usually do not work on results until Saturday after weigh ins.  Hope this helps to clarify some of the things.  Feel free to ask me any other questions as they come up.

I have posted teams.  There are exactly 14 members on each team.  So lets keep up the participation.  This is how the format works for weighing in.
