Hello you all.  This is tvette (but you can call me Tonya).  I realized that the one thing missing from my weight loss efforts was ACCOUNTABILITY.  I'm not a team player in general, but this struck me as something that could really make a difference for me.  Let's do it Team 2!!!!!

Hi guys!  I'm looking forward to this challenge- I love the biggest loser!  I have been on CC for just over a month now (which has been the longest time I have stuck with anything!).  I am looking forward to this new way of life and losing weight for another 12 weeks with everyone here.  We can do this Team 2!!!

Hi, Team 2!!!

My name is Becky.  I am 35, married, 2 kids, yada, yada.  I am so excited about this challenge!  This was the 1st year that I watched the Biggest Loser and it literally changed my life.  The people on the show showed me that I really can do what I have always wanted to do. 

So, did anyone watch the finale last night?  Did you know who would win?  Who were you routing for?

Also - should we come up with a team name?  Besides Team 2, as catchy as that is...  :)

Will there be a certain day of the week we will weigh in?

What are the steps everyone is going to take to meet their goals? 

Me personally I am working on keeping my calories under 1500 (never realized how much I ate until I started logging calories) and workout at least 4 times a week swimming, treadmill, walking or yoga/pilates.  I am also trying to keep my water & fiber intake high.

Hello Team 2!  My name is Jeremy, surprised huh'?  I'm 19 and somewhere in the 205 range (depending on water retention for the day.)  Looking to drop to roughly 170.  We got this Team 2.

Wednesdays are the weigh in days and I think she will count up the total weight loss on Saturday.

My "diet" plan is to eat between 1200-1700 depending on the amount of exercise I do that day.  I just got a pass at the Y so I work out for a little over an hour 3-4 days a week.  Then I also have turbo jam and I just got an exercise bike for christmas.  That about wraps up my plan.  I've been doing it for about 9 days so far and that is like a record for me!  This WILL be the last time in my life that I am fat. :) yay

one week till weigh-in everyone!!!! shed those pounds!!!

Sounds like a great plan!  This will be the last time I am fat also.  Plus I want to look hot for my 20 year reunion!

My name is Robert...38 married with 3 kids from lovely Northeast Ohio!

started on CC about  7 weeks ago and have lost 18 lbs (Start 221.5 current 203.5), was putting up 3 - 4 lbs a week but sorry to say am now looking at 2 - 2.5 a week (which is the longterm pace I am looking for I guess) ... But in a Biggest Loser contest  not going to put up the big #'s.

Longterm goal is 175 (was actually 180 but also signed up for lose 30 by april 1st club) and at the time was 206, so figured the extra 4 lbs would be good for goal).  Based on my current pace and projected goals I will hopefully put up 25 - 27 lbs loss for our team.

Remember its a marathon not a race ... so if we are sticking for 12 weeks lets be sure to set a reasonable pace for success.  Winning the Contest is a means/motivation to a bigger longterm goal!

So the plan is by April 1st to be at 175, which just happens to be 3 weeks before heading to Maui!... and about 2lbs a week will do it for me.

Contest was organized by someone else based on Biggest Loser Contest - Part 5 posting.

We all signed up (dealdine was by the 17th) and weighed in 12/19.  We were randomly assigned team two and 12 week contest against 2 other teams of randomly  selected 14 people (who also signed up by 12/17).

So personally would welcome you as "honorary member of team 2" (Goal is support and weight loss right), but it is too late to get you officially on the team for contest.  If you want  to post starting weight as of 12/19 and post weight here evryy Wed. that is cool but we can't use your #'s towards team goal.  We log weights to another thread but can post a summary to this thread to keep you updated.

I did go out and about last night and had...a few :D drinks.  Hopefully that doesn't set me back.  Luckily I feel sick enough today to not eat a whole lot, however, that also means I did no exercising today.  HOpefully it won't make a difference. 

It's kinda crazy that our first weigh-in is the day after christmas.  This has got to be the hardest week of the year to lose weight...not that we can't do it though!

How did everyone do over the holidays?  I did okay lost 3 lbs this past week.  Unfortunately I lost most of that before the weekend and didn't lose any after Saturday.  Guess it is better to have maintained than to have gained.
I was down 4lbs, when I woke up this morning I was back to starting. Hooray for Christmas yummies :). After everything settles itself back out I should be back down to to -2 or -3 by my weigh in tonight.
I had 3 days of eating lots and lots of goodies.  Each day I told myself I would hold back- However, I failed to do so.  Somehow, I managed to still lose 2 pounds.  I did not think that was going to happen.  I'm sick today so I'm not going to exercise, but hopefully it will begin again tomorrow. 

I'm ready to get back on track!!!!!
