Biggest Loser Challenge Thread - Part 6 - Final Results Posted!
I participated in Pt. 5 and found it to be great motivation. Unfortunately "biggestloserfan" is no longer able to do the challenge, and asked if anyone wanted to pick it up. I figured, why not, I'll take that challenge.
I am stealing the rules from his post...
Here are the official rules. We weigh in every Tuesday. You will be responsible for weighing in. I am not going to track anyone down for weigh ins. I will assign people to teams randomly and there will be three to four teams depending on how many people show an interested. For those who miss a weigh in your previous week's weight will be counted towards that week. This way no team is hurt or helped by someone not weighing in for the week.
Teams are more than welcome to start their own team threads and talk amongst teams but we ask that you start these team threads in the games forum. This is where the chat threads should be.
I will calculate results by the percentage lost. I will post results hopefully by Sunday but not later then the following Monday after weigh ins. Again this is because I am not sure how many people will be interested.
If you sign up please make sure that you are willing to commit to the entire 12 weeks. I can understand dropping due to special circumstances but it can get frustrated when half the people who signed up dropped after a week. However, I do encourage anyone to participate. Just please think about your team members before you drop out of the challenge. If anyone has any questions feel free to message me on here or send me an email at the address in my profile.
Members who miss 3 consecutive weigh-ins, or a total of 4 weigh-ins will be removed from the challenge and team totals.

I too would love a BLC Round 7 if Jeremy would be willing to be the ring leader.
I know it's a lot of work, but you're doing great Jeremy...thanks for doing this and giving us all a chance to have fun and lose at the same time!
I emailed Jeremy and asked if he was going to do another round after this and he said he didn't think so but was willing to pass the torch (and Excel spreadsheet along).
If someone else wants to head it up I'd be willing to help out (I don't think I have the time to do it alone though!) - perhaps we could do alternating weeks or team up some other way??

I actually started another challenge for Labor Day and have lots of ppl that jumped on board that one but I'd love to do the BLC, too.
Post it and I'll be there with bells on! Well, maybe swimming shoes ;)
I am so in! Knowing that I have a set date to log my stats and knowing that I have other people/teammates working hard to achieve the same results has really kept me accountable. Doing these challenges gives me a chance to set mini-goals for myself and if I break them, I get a feeling that only makes me want to do more. I wanted to loose at least 20 lbs during this BL Challenge so I have been working harder this last week than any other so far to make sure that I meet that goal. I don't know if I would have this new found motivation without the challenge.
