The Biggest Loser 2008 episode
I was eating an orange and he was flipping the channel and I immediatly said, "OMG, its the biggest loser" We started watching it that minute. For some reason we are always eating when the show plays.
About 30 minutes into the show, my dad got up and said "All right I get it" and he proceeded to get on the Gazelle and work out. he said if those people could do it why couldn't he. I was so proud. I worked out on my bike, and we worked out for 40 minutes.
That show is amazing and so inspirational.
haha! I watch every episode! If I'm doing something, I stop everything, and park myself in front of the TV...haha! Yes, yesterday's was pretty interesting. I felt so sorry for Jenni...she really wanted to be there, but Lynn, her father, was being a pain in the rear about the whole thing, and he really needed to be there. The think I hated the most was when they were in their room packing, he basically just said that she didn't try hard enough..."You only lost 7 pounds...I lost 19"...what is that to say to your daughter when you know fully well that she is trying her best...? I don't know what happened, but I thought she worked pretty hard...I felt so sorry for her...
Do you think that these people have a little more resistance than the other people in the last season? I don't remember anyone already "light jogging" in the last season on the first episode...I was pretty impressed yesterday...
Can't wait til next week...I wonder what Bob and Jillian is going to do...

i LOVE the biggest loser, but i'm starting to wonder a little about the insane numbers. i don't think it's physically possible to lose 29 lbs of actual fat right?
I always thought that. Even if they could, their metabolism would be shot by the end of it, from the drastic calorie deficts, so the weight would pile back on, but kudos to them if they can keep it off...
I do love the show. If you guys in the US have a new series now, it will probably arrive on british screens in march...I can't wait!
From the previews next week it looks like Bob and Jillian will join forces and train the contestants together. It should be interesting since it seems they have opposing philosophies on weight loss. I was always wondering who would be the best trainer for my personality type? Probably the one that would kick my butt the hardest. I tend to lack motivation sometimes....okay, a lot of the time
jeff, knowing i am on a diet, was like, "how is 20lbs in a week possible? if that were true, you would be done in a week!" i told him i thought it was mostly water. it would have to be right? and plus they work out all the time. the numbers slow down to 3-10 twards the end if i remember right.
i did feel sorry for jenni and i wondered how they got on in the 1st place! i bet there are a lot of potentials that really wanted to be on there and are not too happy right now.
i like betty sue!! she is a crack up
I saw the new episode too! When i saw how much weight lose the contestants had i was shocked! I know it's mostly water weight tho.
Who went home the Green or Purple Team?
I fell asleep right before they said it.
I love this show too!
As for the big losses, remember that these people have alot of wgt to lose and the more you have to lose then the more you lose in the beginning. The closer you are to being at a healthy wgt, the harder it is to lose. Someone 50, 75, 150 lbs over weight would lose alot more to start than somebody needing to lose 10 lbs.
Lynn is only 4 years older than I am! I felt soooo sorry for Jenni...she wanted to stay so badly and her father just wanted out. I hope those 2 young fat camp counselors get their act together. And Neil better stop being such a quitter or his wife is gonna kill him!
Julian is my kind of trainer! Takes no excuses :)
I love the show! I have been hooked since Season 1!!!!
I think Jenni is really going to lose the weight..he dad on the other hand, doesn't look like he lost anything....maybe he has! I was bummer to see they were leaving because they are from OHIO....we are all fat here and need something to get us off our arses!
I was shocked at the 23 YOs with the balloon challenge...the one girl was pulling the other along! What was up with that?
It should be interesting to see those #'s next week........I bet they will be much lower! But these people are bigger then most of the people they have had on the show. I just wish they would show us there statistics....I would like to know what there height is along with there weight. I know that it shows it on line....or I think it does...but I wanna see it at initial weight in...might get me off my butt if I am looking at someone the same height and close to the same weight as me.
I was glad we didn't have to wait so long for a new season...kuddos to Biggest Loser!
Well there is my 2 Cents!
