Ok seriously..anyone else watching Biggest Loser? Bob is way to dramatic/emotional this season IMO...

I get that he has grown a bond with these people, but is not like they all died he just has to work out with new people...

Am I a horrid person for smirking during it because I found it cheesy? Or that I actually laughed during their *memories* they were showing during it? Lmao.

I love this show and I understand the bond, but sometimes this show can be SO damn corny. Tongue out

No it was 100% cheesy they were making it seem like it was a video clip of a child growing up or something special like that.

Your there to loose weight, shouldnt matter what trainer you have. lol

I also love that show Laughing

this is why i like jillian a thousand times better than bob.

jillian was like:"guys, its going to be fine.  lets just chill and communicate with eachother and everything will be fine.Cool"

while bob was like: "omg!! im dying!! im so emotional right now!Cry"

im sorry, but bob and his former team need to man up.

at least sione redeemed himself by not quitting.

Aww, you guys! I found it endearing. Jillian's cried a few times on this show, but Bob? Not once. It's refreshing. I love both those trainers.

In defense of "cheesiness", when you're being ripped out of the only life you've ever known, being forced to push yourself to greater limits than you thought possible, breaking every boundary you ever made, I'd be pretty emotionally attatched too to the person who led me there.

You guys do realize this is a television show eh?  It's not real life.  They have cameras on them all day and little guys behind the camera coaching them as to what to say, what type of emotion they are looking for, crying on cue, stuff like that.  It's all made up.   If this Bob buy went through some kind of hissy fit, it's because it makes for good t.v. (you guys are talking about it right?) and someone coached him to do it.   These people may not be professional actors, but this show is as far from reality as me dating Pam Anderson anytime soon...

the problem that i had with all the crying (yes, i know its just a stupid tv show, johnnyTongue out) was that the biggest loser is all about becoming stronger and tougher than you ever thought you could be.  its all about pushing yourself above and beyond your perceived limit.   but then everyone including the trainer has a mental breakdown when they have to workout on the other side of the gym with someone else?  it kind of contradicts itself.

It was so corny that I got up and left the room and came back five minutes later so I didn't have to watch it... they're not dead or sent home, they're still there on the ranch!

Man, I miss one episode and - of course - it turns out to be a controversial one! :D I'm a big fan of the show. Can someone tell me exactly what I missed? What happened? What's the deal with Bob crying?

Thank you :)

Here's the recap.   They had a challenge. Some won, some lost.  Some switched teams.  Bob cried.  They all cried.  They continued on. The show ended....I think that about covers it...lol...

lol yea thats about right.

They now have a black team and a blue teams so the people who lots bob as a trainer were upset and wanted to quit blah blah blah.

And Bob was SUPER emotional lol...

The other hour plays tonight.

I think Jillian had it right when she said that they should see it as an opportunity to work with two different trainers with different styles and to learn from both. Luckily I watched the show on my DVD-R so was able to fast forward through all the weeping and moaning.

I'm sorry, I just gotta say...Pam Anderson???  Really?  Maybe 20 years ago, but now???  Oh, there is so much better to aspire to!!!!

She's got Hep C so she'd be off the list anyway.  But I still wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating non-organic crackers...lol.

I didn't see it either...I'm on the West coast and because of the Pres. I don't think we had it on TV last night?  Any was go on line type in biggest loser and you can read play by play the epidsode.  Granted it isn't video but you get a real feel of what we missed.

@5327 - I'm in Washington State and was able to watch it without any problems...strange! *plays Twilight Zone music*

LOL!  You left out the part where Jillian did the "food storage" commercial!

I changed the channel at that point...I find it really annoying that they incorporate their commercials into the actual show.  Just shows how scripted the whole show is.

Don't read this if you haven't watched it yet..spoiler.

Why would the blue team vote off their biggest loser???  That was a bad decision.  I don't like Ron at all.  I can't look at him without his shirt off.

Is Ron the Dad, the guy with the heavy accent?  Isn't he the most bizarre looking guy with his shirt off?  He weighs like 900 lbs and yet he doesn't have a big gut, at least not protruding out like you would think.  I can't see a guy that big sucking it in that much.

why did aubrey vote for kristen?  if she had voted for ron like the other two it wouldve been a tie.  Im not exactly sure how ties work, but doesnt the biggest loser of the teams vote count then?  wouldnt ron have gone home?   it doesnt make any sense.

I think the bond between Bob and his origional team is so strong because he has been with them since the beginning.  If I were in that environment, secluded, I think ALOT of soul searching would be going on.  These people have to figure out what's causing their obesity  and just have the freedom to soul search in general.  Bob seems to be the type of person who can get in tune with others and go through the pain with them.  It's a strong bond that I am glad he is capable of achieving.  Ever watch that DIETRIBE show?  That trainer was so worried about himself and not the girls that I just couldn't watch anymore.

So I say...CRY, BOB CRY!!!  Lol CryLaughing
