Mike and Ron are jerks.  I wanted Kristin to win it all.  Now I am rooting for Felipe.  I hope Mike gains next week and goes home.  And Ron - whatever, he's just gross!

I agree on most of this. I was so pissed last night when I saw them talking about her behind her back- my BF said Ron isn't really like that and the show made him like that to give us someone to dislike. But when Mikegot super smug and said "I'm going to win this" and Ron said "My son will win this" then I really wanted to both of them to go home! I have NEVER like Ron, from day one!!! He is so wierd looking and selfish and just BLAH! He makes me wanna throw things at my TV. GO TARA!!

Ron's a jerk.  I was feeling happy for him since he got under 300 lbs. but then he backstabbed Kristen.  Kristen is terrific and I really think represents what the BL is all about.  Can't quite figure out Tara - really tough competitor but then seems to waffle under pressure (the look she gave Mike when he said he would win it all- i thought she looked scared).  I believe Kristen will lose the weight and keep it off, not so sure about Ron, Tara, and Mike.

I was sad to see Kristin go. I thought she was a great person with an even better attitude and a wonderful example.

I was not angry at Mike, though I was a bit disgusted with Ron. Mike is 18, and between Jillian on one side who stresses an attitude of "I will do this" and his dad on the other side playing Machiavelli for him, it's really not surprising to hear him come out with a line like that. In context, it doesn't paint him as a bad person, just a teenage boy and product of the situation.

I like Tara sometimes, I find her annoying as hell others. I don't like Felipe, though. I'm rooting for Mike at this point.

i don't think she looked scared; i think she looked pissed.

I was for Kristen too, but oh well.  I think she'll be very successful off the show :).

What cracked me up last night is how Bob was really razzing them about how bad their diets were.  He said something like, "oooh, what's for dinner- ice and lettuce wraps with nothing in them?"  They WERE clearly eating too little and I think that is one reason why Kristen gained.

i was so annoyed with myself for dozing off during the last segment of the show.  So Kristin got sent home....

Tara is an amazing competitor and I like her.  I also like Mike, so if either of them win that would be great.  I think it's only natural to want to win the competition -- isn't it a buttload of money that the winner gets?  Plus the celebrity status.

Although I did like Kristen, there were a few things that bothered me about her.  She was all about getting her ducks in a row, making alliances, etc.  Ron is sly, isn't he?  But it all makes the show more entertaining.

I loved the way Mike took his dad to task for letting them all get so heavy! Womp!

Just for the record, you didn't 'see' them doing anything, you heard audio which may or may not have been spliced together from any number of conversations that Mike and Ron had with either each other or any other person on set at any time before, during or after the deliberations on last night episode.

yeah, well, maybe, but the result was the same as what the "conversation" indicated.  Kristen definitely was the bigger threat to Mike than Helen because of the amount of weight she still needs to lose, and Kristen has really seemed to become very intense about the workouts and her mental outlook.

I am rooting for Tara...she continues to make people work hard to try to beat her, but they can't.

Ron TOTALLY annoys the crap out of me.  I like Mike...it is just a game and there is $50K at stake also.  Even tara took the 10K last night. I don't blame them from palying the game. Yes, Kristen did AWESOME! and I am so proud of her, but the fact is she gained (however that happened) and that's the reason she went home.

It's sneaky and they should be honest, but really as long as Felipe DOESN"T win, I'll be happy (he's such a bitch).

Felipe strongly reminds me of someone I knew in college. The stunt that he pulled during the challenge was exactly the type of thing that guy would have done - just to mess with people.... I don't want him to win.

And - just to reiterate what Bob was saying to his team - it's not always about picking the lowest cal option - it's about fueling your body! One of the few times they actually talk about not going too low in calories, and since it's something that people struggle with on this site all the time, it bears repeating.

Uh- try $250,000.  That's what the Biggest Loser gets.

The contestant that loses the most at home gets $100,000.

Kristen was very naive if she ever thought that Ron wouldn't do what he thought was best for Mike to win. He's said it multiple times on the show. Ron knows it's a game, and he's been playing the whole time. I don't like him much, but I can't fault him for that. I'm hoping, though, that he gets sent home next.

I think Tara still has the best chance to win, as long as she can keep losing the weight and stay above the line.

What completely bothered me about this was: yes - Bob was razzing them about what they were eating, but never specifically addressed the point that all of that food probably added up to about 900 calories for the entire day!  I totally agree that this is why Kristin gained weight this week...  and think the rest of the teams' losses probably could have been more significant.

In seasons past when this happened, Jillian specifically addressed this topic with her contestants...  and educated the audience about the need to eat enough to let your body let go of the weight.  In contrast, at this weigh in, Bob just looked super confused about Kristin's gain.

Give me a break - Bob needs to educate his trainees and the TBL audience.  This is a problem that many people have, and making light of under eating ala the "lettuce cups with ice" comment was not helfpul to anyone.  How about suggesting the proper amount of calories and a proper meal?  This way it's a learning experience.

Can I point out that the quiz show challenge question "how many servings is this?" was completely meaningless. Perhaps had they said "According to the label, there are 250 calories/serving - how many servings are in this pizza?" people would have been able to guess.

But you can tell me that an orange is 1 serving or 8 servings - it doesn't change how many calories are in an orange.

Ron and Mike really surprised me last night. I've always liked Mike..but just that smugness last night kind of turned me off. I don't know when him and his father said he was going to win it all, I just felt really uncomfortable like I was sitting in that room. Mike's going to have a lot of people on his back now, everyone looked p*ssed.

Personally my favorite is still Tara, she's just such a strong player, that it's motivating. I like Mike as well, but didn't like the way he was represented on the show last night. Heh.

I'm sure Kristen will do amazing even while at home. :)

Yep terra0514- I agree.  I was surprised that Bob did not say a word about the undereating thing when Kristin showed a gain.  He was all surprised and saying stuff like, "I don't know how this is possible."  Well duh-- they showed him a videotape of how it is possible!!!  That really should have been addressed.

I admire Ron for hanging in there and for losing all that weight... but at the same time I don't really like him as a person because he's being very manipulative. But he's not nearly as loathable as last year's competitors! Mike is just a kid really and acting like it... at this point he really does see himself in the position to win it. Of course Tara might have something to say about that, but he's in as good a position as anyone else. It's a shame that Kirsten got sent home but that's life...

If I had a choice of trainers I would definitely pick Jillian.  She is awesome!  My all time favorite was when she was talking about some luxury challenge her team won and she said she didn't care about it [the reward].  She just wanted to see everyone's a** get smaller.  Then she did a hand gesture shoving her hands together, "a**, smaller"!  Classic.  I can't remember if it was this season or last, but was definitely my favorite.

I agree that Tara looked pissed when Mike said he was going to win.  Felipe also looked like he wanted to kill him.  I assume since no one has mentioned Helen that you all think she is the next to go.

I think that if Ron and Mike had been in the bottom two, Kristen (and everyone else) would have voted Mike.  I also think Mike made the right decision to eliminate Kristen.  She really was a huge threat and I think she is a top contender for the $100,000 prize.

Nope - nobody sees her as a threat so they won't get rid of her. Which is too bad, because she pisses me off. If she's below the yellow line again, I'm not sure there is another contestant who wouldn't be sent home over her - everyone else is considered a "threat"

Ron may be a jerk, but I was happy to see Kristen leave.  Her whining about Mike daring to win the first challenge by *gasp* having learned his calories and being able to do simple arithmetic totally turned me off her and had me rooting against her for the rest of the show.  Guess what?  Wanting to win a prize is not the same as deserving to win the prize, and her thinking she deserved it more because she (in her mind) wanted it more than her did is the sort of thinking that drives me nuts.

And if Mike had been below the yellow line with Helen, she totally would have "taken the easy way out" and voted against him.  She's just a sore loser.
