well i agree,, but Ashley started the thread and she is gone now dropped out cause she found out she was pregnant!!!!!   SO we prolly should start another thread...............?!?!?

I agree a loss is a loss, and ty for that, for me ill have a decent loss one week none the next,  i do everything possible just have to let my body say when it loses =)

 Hello Team Two!

I just signed up to the challenge today and was told I'm joining Team Two! Yay!

I'm excited to lose more weight and I have a lot to go and usually if I'm working on it pretty good I"ll lose it steadily. I'm a week 'behind' the rest of you but I promise I'll catch up!

I'm 5'5", 31yo, weigh 248 & size 18W, need to be about 140 & size 9, and I'm 10 weeks postpartum now so I have a lot of extra ab toning to do, too!

Let's kick some Team One and Team Three tail! :D Looking forward to the "finale" and the final show & real finale on the Biggest Loser Couples.

So how did everyone do this week???  I'm down 2lbs!!  I'm really glad cause I worked my butt of this week!!  We'll see how next week goes after a decent loss this week!!

What does everyone do to workout??  I like videos and DDR, although now that it's warm I want to get outside more, bike riding, walking, etc.  Although it's supposed to snow again this weekend!!!  Don't know what's up with that!! Lol... but surely it'll get better soon!!

I try to run, a lot.  I am up to about 20 miles per week.  And am considering a half marathon on 6/1/08.

Ugh i'm having a hard time with cravings. I"m a sweets craver, but also just about anything if I"m stressed. I'm staying within my calorie count, which really works out for when I do, but it's been frustrating being a stress-eater and being stressed! I"ve eaten like 2 boxes of Hostess 100-calorie packs.. counting the numbers, but still!!!

Hi all -

I think I did good this week (3 pounds down - due to the resolution of some GI issues :)  ).  But, right now I'm at a work conference and I always do poorly when I have little/no control over what I'm eating.  I hate not knowing what the calorie content is of something!  I think I am doing ok though (assuming I didn't eat over 4000 calories today, I didn't gain) and tomorrow I go home!

Steph - I'm the same way I eat those Hostess cakes like no tomorrow.  I've finally concluded I can't have them at home.  I have to stick to ice cream for my sweet cravings because for whatever reason one statisfies the craving for the day for me.

Congrats team 2 on everyones weightloss!!!!!!    Thats great, just thought id stop by and say high i just finished a tough 60 min workout.....feels good though now, of course tilll i stand again!!

Hey hey hey Team 2.  What did everyone get accomplished this weekend?  I set a new PR in a 5k on Sunday (24:38) and that gave me so much energy that I went out and detailed a car from there.  I think knowing that my girlfriend was at the finish line waiting to cheer me on pushed me to cut my time down (from 28:04.) 

Hey Jeremy... I noticed it says you'll accept weigh ins until Thursday... I weigh in on Thursdays for another challenge... so is it ok if I just always weigh in on Thursdays?? Just want to double check!!  Oh and that's a lot of time to cut off on your race... WTG!!!

My weekend wasn't the best.... didn't get much exercise in and made some not so good food choices.... but I'm going to work extra hard the next few days!!!

My weekend was good,  i burned tons of calories woking in my yard for 4 days, ate perfect, minus sat i went out had a few drinks, still had a deficit of 1000, so all in all good!!!!

GL weighing in tomorrow, i only weight in fri or sat !!!  So i use that number!!

Yep as long as you have it posted by 11:59p on Thursday you are fine (honestly up to about 10a Friday {when I put the tables together.})

 

Thanks, the race was killer, My 1st mile split was 6:50, which I knew was waaay to fast, but I held a pretty good pace from there.

So...what did everyone do for last chance workouts this week?  I went on a long run, 9.32miles in 1:42:40.  Half-Marathon here I come!

   I had a steady week, had one day I struggled and wanted to stress-eat, but I count all my calories and in the end I lost an encouraging 6 lbs :)

   I don't exercise by a regular routine (yet), I just get in extra activity as often as I can. I'm a mom of six, ages 2 months to 9 1/2 years and it sounds so pathetic and cliche but it's hard to find time and ability to get it in!! Tonight my husband and I will go walking at a park while the kids play so we'll get in some exercise at least!! Yay!

    Great job on the 5k and those of you working out otherwise! :)   
 For some it's getting harder, for some it's getting easier, and for some it's getting Old not eating what you crave or everyone else is eating! Remember this is for your health, longer life, more energy, better sleep, and stronger body!! You can do this.. don't give up! Most of us don't lose weight at 4-5 lbs+ a week every week... it goes up and down.. don't stop!

 Want something sweet for a nice dessert ? Try some berries & yogurt, sugar-free Jello, angelfood cake, or sugarfree/homemade Crystal Light popcicles!

Went for a nice 10 mile run today, hopefully the scales will reflect that come Wednesday. 

  What is your weight goal jeremy6201 ? Just curious since you're at 180 or so now.

170, then when I hit 170 I will be working to get back to 180, but with muscle.  

Woo hoo! I just lost another 1.5 pounds (but am not offically weighing in until Thursday in case there's more to loose between now and then)!

How is everyone else doing?

I'm feeling pretty good about my progress in the last month.  I have a healthy amount of weight coming off and I don't feel bad about what I eat.  I now there is always room for improvement but this is a lifestyle change so I don't want to do too much too quick then end of giving up.  I am trying to be more active now that the weather is getting better so I should see if that is working out (no pun intended) soon. 

Great job everyone...I'm proud of our team!!!
