Annoyingly because I doubt it's safe, smart or anything I should bother with! Undecided

Anybody had a look at it? Laughing

I've been offered the Plan, for an eventual fee, of course! and wondered if I'd benefit any from looking at it in the free 21 day preview...??? Laughing

P.S.-- I don't watch TV, so I'm less informed about this, but have heard enough to develope a dangerous curiosity...! Surprised

Any comments...??? Anybody...??? Laughing

I'm mostly curious about how much exercise they would recommend to home losing, and whether they use appropriate calorie intakes...

I strongly suspect they don't...! Laughing

Anybody here know??? Laughing

This is all secondhand info, so take with a grain of salt, but it's what I've been told by people on the plan.

I've heard that the Biggest Loser Plan they market is nothing like the one the TV show contestants use.  In other words, it has people eat reasonable amounts of calories and incorporates exercise but not hours and hours and hours every day.  Of course, this means that results aren't as dramatic as on the TV show - but they're probably more sustainable.

That's kinda' what I guessed, with no trainer, but some info in a grocery booklet I picked up sounded low in exercise, and too low in calories...? Undecided

The 'Plan' offer doesn't say, so I wondered if anyone else had previewed it for any useful tips...? Laughing

Thanks for responding-- feels like a weekend quietness in this forum, today, lol! Surprised

My friend started it, so I borrowed the book and read through it, but not in depth.  Also, I looked through the recipe book.  I also get, and read, Jillian Micheal's newsletter every day.

From what I've read, I'm impressed.  It looked to be a very sound plan, based on solid nutritional principles and I didn't see any red flags.  I enjoyed the books and the newsletter, they have a very supportive and inspirational attitude.  I feel like the focus is on "You can do it!" rather than "Our system works".

That attitude sounds good!!! Thanks!!! Laughing

That sounds much better than I expected... Laughing

I hope that the plan you've been offered is similar to the book - good luck!!

Definitely sign up for Jillian's daily newsletter, it's free.  http://jillianmichaels.com/

Thanks!!! That was interesting! Laughing

I haven't tried the "Plan" but I did recently buy the Biggest Loser Cookbook and it has some great recipies in it. I tried two of them this weekend and they were really good. The begining of the book talks a little about the plan and it seems to make sense. It doesn't look unhealthy, actually, I used their formula to calculate my daily calorie reccomendation and it was about the same as what this site calculates for me. So it sounds like it would be safe. Wether or not it is worth the money...I don't know. Good Luck!

Thanks!!! Laughing
