biggest loser workout
I went out and bought the biggest loser workout yesterday.Biggest Loser is my favorite show, so I started working out as soon as I got it home.....believe it or not I am very sore today, but I got up this morning, and workout again. You sweat, you hurt!I have tried so many workouts and diets, but never stick to any of them! This I believe I will truly stick with,it's great,it's got 6 routines to choose from, and you can customize your own workout. The best thing for me is working out with these people like Suzy and Matt, who I watched on TV transform themselves. If you are fimiliar w/ the show then you what I mean.It really gives me the confidence that I need.Today I am a whooped butt, but I feel good! Y'all should try it, it's only 10$$ at wal mart.
YEAH! i'm so glad someone else on here has that dvd! i posted about it
before but no one responded! i've been doing the workouts for about a
month now and i just love it! i've lost about 15lbs so far on the
workout and dropped a pant size...it's like the best workout ever...i
love it cause i don't worry about how dump i look cause matt's in the
back falling over just like me! and bob is so funny and makes it
fun and easy to do. keep in touch and let me know if you stick with it
and how it goes.

I don't know what that stuff is about above my post lol Anyway, don't fret lacirrom! I saw your post and since you loved the video so much I went out and bought it. I haven't done it yet, I'm planning on doing it tonight for the first time. I'll let you know how it went!

I just purchased the dvd and I really like it. It is definetly a challange to make it through the hi-intenstity work out. I have another dvd that I switch on and off with. I tried the biggest loser boot camp, that about killed me. My goal is to get through the boot camp section with weights in hand.
good for you! it is hard, but I did get thru boot camp today w/ weights in hand for the first time, but not w/o screaming at bob! lol
I just got my husband to start working out to the dvd with me at night.
the first night we did the weight training and the low cardio. he
thought he was going to die!!!! so the next night i went easy on him
and we did the bootcamp. he did better...only had to stop a few times!
it's funny too cause to look at him you would think that he is in
good shape. he works really hard all day lifting hundreds of pounds
over and over all day long but when it comes to
cardio.......woo....that pack a day of cigs has really caught up to him.

I also have bought the DVD and I love it, the only problem I am having is the cordination and to be honest the low intensity is hard for me any suggestions? I do the toning every other day and the cool down and I have a 2 mile walking video I do everyday but any advice on what to do for actually doing the workout. If it becomes to much should I stop or just go back to the basic side step? Any advice
So tell me, are these video's you do at home? I live in a condo and am pretty sure my neighbors downstairs won't appreciate me doing cardio above them. I belong to a gym though, can the work outs be taken to the gym?
I do the DVD at home and so as far as taking it to a gym I am not quit sure you would want to do that because of needing a DVD player. But You may want to ask your gym
i also do the work out in my home. i don't know about taking it to the gym either because it's a dvd and really set up for home use. i wouldnt' think that it would be that big of problem doing it in a condo except for the jumping jacks might make some noise....they have a variation of jumping jacks that you can do where you don't actually come up off the ground when you do a jumping jack so it really wouldn't make any noise. it's a really good workout so if you think you can work it where you don't make to much noise i would totaly recommend it.
I did the warmup, low impact cardio and the cooldown and I thought I was going to die! Some of the things in the video drove me nuts, including that nobody was in sync with each other which threw me off sometimes and also that the trainer didn't do the exercises too. It was a VERY good workout. I thought I wasn't going to survive it lol

Wow this has gotten so many recommendations here that I think I will try it.
Do you do the whole video every day for 6 weeks or is it broken up into sections?

due to arthritis, I can't do high impact aerobics. Is the tape high or low impact? I sounds like something I might try.
Wow, I got this the other day and I couldn't even get through the low cardio! What an eye opener!
I am going to try and do the six week program starting monday. It will be tough but I think it will turn out great!
Thanks for recommending this to me, everyone! I really like the instructor and it's a fun workout. Not easy, but fun!

good job Tracey! Do what you can! Watch the workouts before attempting them!
Kelly- IT has both low and high impact.

this is still one of my favorite workouts, and I can't wait til the show comes back on in September!
I just purchased the "Bigest Loser" DVD also! I love the routines - last week I switched from low intensity to high intensity with the weight training. I felt so good at the end of the week. You just never know how out of shape you are until you try new exercises! I have been working out on the treadmill since June 1 for an hour a day and thought I was ready for the DVD! I am really going to enjoy this one.
