my biggest weakness - tortilla chips
My problem is that I love salsa, and salsa is healthy so I eat a lot of it. But the thing that goes best with salsa is tortilla chips, and I have yet to find an alternative that is actually any good.
I've tried flax seed chips, which are probably just a little healthier, but the calories are almost the same as regular chips.
tortilla wraps, pitas, veggies, eggs. these are some thoughts but I usually just try and watch the amount that I eat. In moderation they are not terrible. maybe try and work on just eating less of them. I have a hard time with that especially at a restaurant when they just keep filling them up.
what I try and do is just pick the little ones because then I eat a lot less of them and I still get the crunchy salsa thing. Also try and have one and then drink some water and just sit. don't just rush into them. those are some thoughts of mine.

I love them so much I will probably have to leave the bag in the trunk of my car so I can't keep going back for more!
i cant control myself around tortilla chips. so i gave them up entirely :( except for special occasions. i dip baby carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli in salsa. they're crunchy and very satisfying and you can salt them if you want.
Look for them at Whole Foods! They're baked, not fried, and are great with salsa!
i just buy some whole wheat tortillas, then cut them up into chip shapes &put them in the toaster oven &let 'em get crispy! ( i dont use any oil)
they're delicious!
I mix salsa with black beans and eat it out of a bowl. It fixes my salsa cravings, and gives me some extra protein and fiber. Salsa is also great on baked potatoes.
I share the same adoration for tortilla chips - yum, yum. I LOVE flax seed chips but do not feel that the Guiltless Gourmet or any other "light/baked" varieties come close (although better than nothing). Just recently I came across plantain chips at Whole Foods. They are really lean, about 85 cals and 5g fat for one serving... they are really great.
Personally, I say go for the real thing, just monitor your potion size.
