I didn't write down the serial number, and I don't know the exact day it went missing, sometime in the last week...probably nothing I can do about it huh?
I just bought it like 2 months ago...money down the drain :(
i feel your pain.
i had a 160 GB ipod... less than a month, got too drunk and i lost/it got jacked. ![]()
I'm so sorry. I know how that feels. Hubby's bike (motorcycle) got stolen when it was sitting right in front of the house. Bikes are heavy, which means that they probably had to back a truck up and load it in the back sometime during the night. And it was in a culde-sac. We suspect that the neighbor's delinquent teenage son had something to do with it. Especially since it was only sitting out for one day, and not many people would see it sitting in a culde-sac. It's not like it was sitting on a major street or anything.
Anyway, we got a call several months later and the police found the bike in a field. It had been totally stripped of all parts. Very sad.
Aww I know how you feel my car just got broken into and they did so much damage trying to steal it that it got written off :/ Don't worry though, have you tried looking on Freecycle? There usually bikes on there that kind people are giving away.
Having something stolen is such a pain, you feel its such a breach into your space, its quite personaö. However, swings and roundabouts... I'm sure something good will happen to balance it out! :)
i'm sorry. that sucks. i live in a city where bikes get stolen on a super regular basis. when i was a kid, we had our locked bikes stolen off our front porch in the middle of the afternoon and we lived on a super quiet side street.
my friends that ride bikes now all bring them inside their homes/office/etc. as locking them outside simply isn't enough. i would recommend keeping your bike indoors when you aren't using it.
OMG! That soooo sucks. I don't know why people do that stuff.

I live on the top floor of a duplex, so not that easy...but I guess the inconvenience is better than losing my property.
It's gone. Indoors is pretty much the best guarantee. I've lost three, one out of the garage and two when the **** head cut the lock.
I'm sorry. Wish I could offer morel.
I typed morel by mistake and thought it was funny so I left it.

is there somewhere on the ground floor where you can lock it up?
I'm so sorry....that really sucks. I feel your pain - my bike was stolen about a week ago and it was really expensive. I kept it on my balcony at my apartment but it was stolen while I was in class at my university. boo :'(
I've had everything but my bike stolen. o_o
I've come back to to find it with its tires, reflectors, seat, or brakes missing. All on seperate occasions. I keep my bike in one of those lockers now, but somebody could always cut the lock. I just hope for their sake that I'm not walking up when they are doing it. :P
Man, I hate some people. That really sucks, I'm sorry. :(
