If you stop binging and eat your maintenance calorie level you will remain at your current weight. To lose weight you need to create a deficit. What do you currently weigh?

I currently weight about 115- 120 depending on the day! :) I heard that if I eat maintenance for someone who is 110, which is my ideal weight that I could lose weight healthly! Is this true?

Thanks for responding previously!

How tall are you? Are you sure 110 is a healthy goal for YOUR body. Just because its within the healthy range doesn't mean its your ideal. If you're already withing the healthy range your body might be resistant to losing.

Muffinbug this was always on the cards.  You're 16 & and you've always been  a perfectly healthy weight.  Trying to force your weight down by undereating has led to the bingeing.  By trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist you've created a bigger problem.  You keep posting the same thing over and over again about how you want to be 110lbs.  YOUR BODY DOES NOT WANT TO BE 110LBS.    You really should forget all about losing weight, counting calories and being obsessed with the scales and instead get into some kind of balance with nourishing foods, regular meals and daily exercise that keeps you healthy and happy.  Stop dieting.  Do other things and get on with your life.

If you can't do this, talk to the people around you about why you feel so bad about yourself.    When a slim, healthy teenager feels the need to lose weight it's usually because they have issues with self-consciousness, confidence and self-esteem... nothing to do with their weight.

Thanks gi jane but and I feel beautiful, but I feel like I NEED to be a certain weight, I dont want to go back to the doctor and them tell me i am above average ever again!

I am 5'2.5 inches. Well my body was 110 just about a month ago, I was eating normal calories around 1750 maybe lose or take some. But then I started binging more and more often.
