What do you do to get back on track after a binge?
I've binged two days in a row now. I know why I did it: the first day I was discouraged because I wasn't losing weight like I wanted to. Today I was too full to eat at breakfast, then I skipped lunch, and by dinner time I was binging again.
I really want to make tomorrow a good day. Thanks in advance for the help!

I binged yesterday too... big time (for me)... i guess it happens every time i "starve" myself for a couple of days in a raw. i tried sleeping but couldn't and insted stood up and ate a few, 800 cals to be precise, more... well, whta's done is done. we need to take care of our monthly average.. i made mine go up 50 cals binging yesterday.. not very bad but still, i'm dissapointed and i totally get you. i do a monthly average.. i'm not allowed to end the month above my maintainance cals - i think it's easier to work on the average than take every day and try to solve the problem in the shortest time possible - for me it isn't even healthy as if i try to do that, my numbers being very low, i might end up in starvation mode. so you could try the thing with the monthly average... i hope it helps
I wish my binge had been only 800 calories! It was like 2000, though. I kept refilling my bowl, then thought, "oh screw it, I'm messed up anyway," and ate everything I'd been craving.
Thanks for the tips. :)
Thanks for the tips. :)
ahaha, I don't binge so much anymore, but on tuesday I had a relapse after about 2 months, and I told myself the same thing, it stared with a bowl of spagheti with my fish and veggie dinner, then I though "eh, already screwed up, I won't count today" I made a batch of cookies (luckily I stopped at 4 and threw the rest away) and then 2 hours later had a meaty wrap with some yogourt and a bit of haagen dazs sherbet...haha
The reason it happened? Between lunch and dinner I had stomach ache (the one when your belly say "feed me") and I decided to ignore it, so I could have ate a banana or something and saved myself alll those calories. Reading the binge threads didn't help either.
Usually though, what I do, like for example last week I was good monday through friday and on saturday since I was wih my boyfriend I decided to treat myself with my favourite food, pasta with lots of cheese. Afterward, I felt horrible since I hadn't eaten so much calories at once for a good month or two, so I went and did 1 hour and a half of callisthenics (squats, sit ups, leg raises etc) and probably burned at leas half of those calories from the pasta and suppressed my appetite at the same time.
The next day I went back to my normal 1200 cal diet and wokout.

Thank you. :)
I just had a binge this morning. I usually drink alot of water then after 2 hours or so, I start doing little exercizes to help me feel like guilty.
One of the main reasons I binge is deprivation, I have an inate fear (ingrained from months of anorexia) that I won't be "allowed" to eat again. I have bouts of anxiety in between meals, and during food preparation. It has become more controllable, but my urge to binge is linked closely to that.
If I DO start depriving mself, then it becomes more difficult to control because the omg-this-is-the-last-i-can-eat feeling is more real...
After a binge or overeating I tell myself that it's not going to be that much in the long run, that I don't NEED to do compensatanry behaviour and as long as I continue to eat well the binge will soon be well and truely in the past. :)
