Yesterday, I binged, major. I ate so much, today, I have too. Total I have gained about 5- 7 pounds. I am so mad!!! What do I do? How do I gain 7 pounds. I generally eat 1, 750 calories a day. But I pracitally ate all the protein bars in sight, and not to mention all the peanut butter (a whole jar)- almost! I am so frustrated. I want to lose weight, and all i am doing is gaining weight. Also, will pb make me fat! Thanks
Will this weight come off?
Well it is a little too late to worry about it now. You will just have to get back on track and eat your 1,750 calories a day. As far as the huge gain it is likely a combination of all that food, perhaps water retention (peanut butter is usually salty). I am sure this is temporary and normal weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds a day so just relax.
Its not fat unless you ate 3500x5 calories above your maintenance alottment. So as the previous poster said, its likely unprocessed food and water that will pass through your system in a few days.
Peanut butter is quite good for you actually (just keep it within your daily limits) and you can get natural unsalted and unsweetened peanut butter which is even better.
I agree with the above posters that this weight will likely come off within the week as long as you get back to your 1750 tomorrow. Also, can i recommend one day every week where you just eat until you are full (not stuffed!) and whatever sounds good to you? That may help prevent future binges. Just an idea. Good luck!

The best thing to do is draw a line under it and not let it get you down. That will just lead to further bingeing, and a downward spiral. Try to make sure you allow yourself regular little treats, so that when you do get a taste of something you crave, you don't go totally mad for it! I've been there, and still do it, despite knowing how awful I feel after a binge. Everything in moderation is surely better than a binge/denial mentality. I am trying to stop this, too, so I am with you
