Every one - I have a really good tip that can help stop the binges
This will only help if you are active in your recovery
I only buy the food I need to eat for one day or so.
If you are not trying really really hard to find out why your binge (finding if there are genuine physical needs your body wants to binge, and than addressing emotional issues), than you will just drive to the shop and get the food to binge on.
But, this is helping me lately. If I only have the food I actually need and nothing more, I don’t eat more.
I already try hard to not binge, so having to drive to the shop to get food is way too much effort
I have slipped up and eating too much of something I fancy in one sitting, for example, I have done this with almond butter, with sugar free chocolate, and also with cheese….
But, even the times I over ate, it did not escalate into a binge, because I still do not have ANYthing in large enough amounts to cause too much damage.
When I over did it on almond butter, the only other food I had in the house was a small amount of fresh fruit, seafood or protein for dinner, and some expensive goats cheese. And the rest of the jar of almond butter I had not eating lol.
And after having too much almond butter, I did not feel like eating goats cheese, or more almond butter, or fresh fruit or etc….
I would think that when you lose weight your stomach would shrink some. But even after losing 20 pounds over this summer, when i binge, it still feels like i'm able to eat just as much as ever. What about you guys?
I binged last night at dinner time, and I know exactly why, but I don't know how to prevent it. Every monday, I work an 11 hour shift. And by the time I get off work i'm always starving and exhausted. I always try and take a snack break in the afternoon, but the time I can take my break is still 2-3 hours before I get off and i usually eat just a yogurt or something. Do you think I should eat a larger snack to sustain me longer, or maybe even eat something small or drink water on the car ride home? This is a battle almost every monday and i'm sick of it.

Figure out what type of eater you are and you might just find the answer to permanent weight loss.
