Has anyone used Bio-Oil to reduce the look of stretch marks? This product might only be available in Canada.

I have white stretch marks on my inner upper arms that have been there forever. I bought Bio-Oil yesterday so I'm looking for any product reviews! I was considering buying Strivectin but it's really ~$130/bottle and I don't want to shell out that much money if it doesn't actually work!

Has anyone tried any stretch mark cream that actually diminished the look of old stretch marks (not including cocoa butter)?

(mods: feel free to move this to The Lounge if you don't think this is exactly Weight Loss-related!)

I love Bio Oil. I've been using it for about 1 month and am seeing some results. My stretch marks are old (from having babies) and there is a little change, not dramatic.

However, I have noticed a huge reduction in some old scars I had, as well as general redness in my skin. I use it all over, twice a day.

In Canada, it's $12 a bottle at Shoppers Drug Mart and a bottle lasts me about a month, but I use it quite liberally.

My advise, rub it in really well before getting dressed. I ruined my favorite bra because I didn't do this.

Yeah, I'm also interested in Bio-Oil (also available in UK). Judging by reviews on the internet, the people that it worked on it REALLY worked but it didn't at all for the others. I haven't bought it because its so expensive for a little bottle. I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter instead everyday. I think mine are fading.

I say its 50-50 chance it'll work (judging by internet reviews) but I'd also love to hear (read) some success stories.

I bought Bio-Oil for $13.99 at Shoppers yesterday. :)

I might as well give it a shot.

I've been using it for about 6 months. I haven't noticed any change, but I don't always use it every day.

I'm still hoping!

try Walgreens or CVS I've been told some stores have it.

Have used Stri-Vectin and bio oil on recent stretch marks. Found Stri Vectin helped reduce the redness of the mark but did not make any difference in the size. Bio oil didn't do anything i noticed!

Stretch marks are the bein of my life!!

Ugh, yeah, stretch marks!! I have a lot of them, but they are not very noticeable right now because I still have a lot of weight to lose. However, I know the ones on my stomach will look really bad once I finish losing the weight. If I pull my belly up now to make it look "flat" they start to get this rippeled accordian look to them. Yuck! It sucks so bad knowing that I'm putting in all this effort to lose the weight, but my stomach will look really gross even when I'm thin. I'd be willing to try just about anything short of surgery to make them look better!
