Ok so today was the party at work and I still managed to stay under 1500 calories even though I ate cake, I made the cake myself so I could control what went in it. I made it with egg whites instead of whole eggs and just 1 tbsp of oil instead of 2 and for the top instead of using fattening icing I used blueberries, cherries and cool whip, it was awesome. I also had some of those party meatballs that are so good. So I didn't do as bad as I thought I would. And I managed to get in almost 6000 steps today because I also had 2 classes at college, so even though I feel just the tiniest bit guilty about the cake, I am VERY proud of myself!!!

Love the idea about skipping the icing in favor of whipped topping and fruit. Great!
