So today's my birthday...so that means dinner with one side of the family tonight and the other tomorrow night...if indulging and not counting my calories throw me completely off? I want to enjoy my birthday but not completely screw up...I'm turning 20 today I want to eat like a 20yr should for once but I'm afraid of gaining a pound or two these next few days cause it's so hard for me to lose two pounds since I fluctuate around my GW I want to stay there so moral of the story... will eating what I want really have a huge effect?

Ever heard of a "cheat day"? It'll probably give your metabolism a kick in the bum. If you're worried, stay away from the scales for a few days so that any potential sodium/water retention will have flushed out by your next weigh in. But honestly, enjoy yourself! Secondly - I agree with lalabanana... if you've been doing well with your diet and not cheating very often, then this weekend will probably actually be really good for you in terms of shocking your metabolism. So my advice for you this weeknd would be this: "Eat what you want, when you want it, but stop when you're full". (I read that in a teen magazine like 5 years ago, and I think it's a good guideline for weekends like these) ![]()
Mostly, remember to have fun and eat cake it's your birthday girl!
happy birthday! eat what you want and so you don't feel bad excercise after/before. go out dancing or hit the gym, but don't skimp on your bday celebrations. there's onyl one day a yr about YOU!
