It's my birthday! meaning Cake, alcohol, food!!! Advice please...

Ok, so tonight is my birthday party and tomorrow is my actual birthday.

I've been doing amazing these past few weeks and I went from 133 to 127. I know that tonight I will have alcohol, yummy food and of course, birthday cake. Most of is concerned with my eating habits tonight. I of course won't overdo it, but it will still be wwaaayyy more calories than I consume on a regular basis.

I know after tonight, my weight loss progress will slow down, and I just hate the fact that the next time I step on the scale it will be 3-5 lbs heavier. Now I know this isn't pure fat gain and it's mostly sodium intake and water retention, but it still makes me nervous.

The other part of me is like, "Don't trip, it's your birthday and it happens once a year! You'll get back on the wagon right after,  just do excess cardio."

I guess what I need is motivation and advice from others. Thanks!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Have fun, just don't go totally crazy :)
I'm celebrating my birthday today (even though it's actually on the 23d) and I just decided to take the day off and enjoy it...

We'll get back on track tomorrow!

We share a birthday, 1/19!  Have fun, eat, drink, enjoy!

I am actually celebrating my b-day on Tuesday, my hubby is bringing me to the Melting Pot.

Happy Birthday!

have a great birthday! You may see an initial up in your weight, but it will come right back off. I'm sure that w/in a week you will be backto or even below what you are at now.

happy birthdya~!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UCSBQT86  !!

My Advise ? Enjoy Yourself ! Enjoy being thin, Enjoy your friends and family, Enjoy  having such an abundant life that you have CHOICES! as to where you COULD indulge if you CHOSE to.

As I've lost my weight, my friends have (mostly silently) watched to see what I do - to see what choices they might apply to their lives - and quietly changes are being made and we're all the healthier for it.

So, when I find myself surrounded by food, alcohol and cake, I try to be a good example. I enjoy treats in healthy moderation and try to make healthy choices - choices that are good for me AND for those quiet bystanders.

Happy birthday!

I had a special occasion myself earlier this week, and it certainly threw off my calorie average for the week.  But so what?  In the long run, it doesn't matter.  Have fun, eat up and enjoy the party.  Don't try to make up for it later, just get back on track the next day.

And if you're like me, you may find the unhealthy food to be not nearly as good as you remembered.  I was really happy to get back to my diet.

I cheated Saturday night...3 glasses of wine plus dessert at dinner....And I didn't gain one pound! I think it matters overall what you do for the week, not just one day!
