Yay blue team! This is my first challenge and I'm so excited. Ate terribly today because it's Rosh Hashanah (brisket, mini potatoes, cucumber salad, grilled mushrooms, challah, etc. All the jewish holiday staples, basically.) But, tomorrow is a new day! I'll be back down to 1500 cals and going to the gym instead of sitting in temple for 6 hours. Haha.

I'm so excited to being my third Biggest Loser Challenge. It is a great motivator and even if you have a bad couple of weeks, it's great to see your journey and progress at the end.
The first time around I came in a close second with 21 lbs loss. The second time I hit a huge plateau and only loss 9 lbs...but still, that is an amazing accomplishment and I have this challenge to thank. It keeps you honest, on track, and accountable.
I love the show...love the challange...and love that each of you are on my team! Welcome! :)

This is also my first BL challenge. I've been on Calorie Counter for over a year (off and on) but these past few weeks I've started to make it a major part of my day. My husband is also working out/trying to lose weight/get healthy, so we hit the YMCA together several times a week - it's great to have a work-out partner like that! I haven't been able to lose weight very fast these past few weeks of really trying, but having to account for myself for this challenge should be a great motivor!
I also love the tv show! It's a great motivator as well!

I have lost 11 lbs so far on CC and hope to lose another 11lbs- hopefully by Christmas.

I'm soooo excited!!! This is my 1st BL challenge and actually just joined the website a few days ago.......I have made myself a fresh start this past Monday - and SO FAR SO GOOD!! : )
In February 2006 I weighed my heaviest at 237lbs......I lost down to 158lbs - going to the gym and eating right.....Well, in the past 6mos, I have let some weight creep back up on me as well as inches..... : ( Let's just say I took a little break!!LOL But now worries, I'm back on track........Just have 38lbs to go to my goal weight........I'm very excited about this challenge.....

hey blue team!! i taking a few min. to log in. you probably wont hear from me for the next few days, as i am off to the fair tomorrow. getting everything to the front door to pack in the truck as soon as it comes back from the garage from getting fixed. so i wish you all luck for the weekend. and i hope i dont overdo it at the fair. all that yummy fair food!! but i am packing good foods to take with us too!!

I have promised myself that I will make much more effort to lose weight this time around (my third biggest loser challenge). I had become a bit complacent and lazy, I must admit, after losing 30 lbs from my heaviest of 210 lbs. I still want to lose another 20-30lbs and I would like it to be gone by next spring!

hi everyone...this is my 1st challenge as only been a cc member for a few weeks, i started the gym last week so im hopeing that will help,i was 252 at my heaviest and started my weight loss journey in july and so far lost 28 pounds! i have about another 70 to go im doing it in 2 parts to keep me motivated like my goal is gonna be xmas,then after xmas im heading for july,hopefully there will be a lot less of me then.

last chance workouts!!! and boy do i need it!! since thursday i have found no time to do my workouts!!! except loading up the truck and unloading and setting up my booth. i did alot of standing and some walking, but couldnt walk to far away from my booth. my mouth got the most workout! haha. time to get back on track!! we did really good at the fair. and had a great time!!! we didnt eat too much of the fair food. and didnt really have time to eat at all!! i know i didnt eat my allowed calories since thursday! and only about 1/2 of my water! but now its time to get back on track!!

Hello Blue Team!
This is my first BL challenge and I'm really excited! I'm wondering if anyone has any advice....I eat really well Mon-Fri but as soon as Sat is here I have no more willpower! All I want to do is eat every meal out and snack in between! And I know I could make decent choices when eating out....but I don't. Then I have to spend most of the week undoing the damage from the weekend. How do I get myself out of this mindset of needing to eat unhealthly on the weekends??
sweetcheeks, the weekend is the hardest for me too. but we dont go out to much to eat. so when i go to the store, i have to go by myself. hubby will put all kinds of junk in the cart. so i get him things he likes and that i dont care for. take baby steps, like sat. eat out and snack, but dont do it on sunday. or vicavirsa. i have a cheat day on sat. and since i know sat. is my cheat day, i dont really overdo it. but if i didnt do a cheat day, i know i would not stay on track all week. and it does help me. good luck to ya!! someone else mite have better ideas for ya!
i am up 5 lbs. since the last challenge!
and i dont know why! does not working out for 3 days and not eatting all your calories do this??? and i couldnt do all my walking yesterday due to my ankles, as i kindof over did it at the fair. standing most of the time. but none of my jeans fit anymore!! they fall to the floor!! i was so excited when i put them on friday and they hit the floor! but we have a pile of jeans that was too small for me and hubby. well they are big on me too.....

How can I make walking fun?
You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
