black lipstick and vampire fangs

So tonight I decided to play with my make up for halloween and have encountered a problem or two...

one I keep getting lipstick on my vampire fangs

two its harder to put on the regular lip stick well at least to get the line even.  If I go a little crooked its extremely noticeable.  I eliminated some of the problem by line in my lips with red liner first but.....still not the best.

My company halloween party is sunday.  Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

You might try putting a tiny smear of Vaseline on the fangs.

if you're set on having black lips... use a black eyeliner (pencil, NOT the liquid stuff) for your lips.  not only to line them, but to fill them in as well.

that's what we used to do (learned that in drama like a thousand years ago)... and the black eyeliner WONT rub off on your teeth/fangs and usually stays put until YOU decide to take it off  :D

but if you want some sort of colored lipstick instead of black.... you can always get the "colorstay" from Revlon (matte of course).  (which we also did in drama class).  that stuff wont rub off on your teeth/fangs

I think the reason the lipstick is rubbing off on the fangs is because it's too glossy/greasy.  kinda like a chapstick-like consistency... you might want to stay away from those kinds of lipsticks for occasions such as these (halloween)

I agree... Black lipstick tends to be really greasy!

I also used to line my lips with eyeliner in my goth phase!

Doing the bood was fun after a few test runs with a sheet I put the shirt on and my bro threw the fake blood at me :-)
