Black spots on face due to dieting
Dears,
I started dieting and exercise on 30 th of Sep. My wight was 247 pounds at that time. I ate everyday 3 apple, two carrots , half litter milk, one peach and 40 g boiled chick peas. On weekend i have taken one good meal like grill cricking or subway tona sandwich. I was spending 700 calaries everyday by running and on weekend i 1200 .
now after 1 month and 20 days i am 194 pounds. This is good sign but i didnot lose wight from last 9 days. My wight is stopped at 194 pounds. This is one problem that you guys have to answer,
second problem is i felt that i got small black spots on face. Is it due to dieting ? I heard before that strict dieting can cause these black spots on face but to avoid this I also used centrum ( multi vitamen tablet ) during this time to avoid these block spots. But still from last 3 days they have appeared on my face.
Can somebody please help in this matter? i also have a fear that if i start eating normal again , i will gain weight very quickly. Please tel me remedy of this , i am so embarrass at the moment.

Hi,
Hopefully someone with more knowledge than me will chip in but basically you are not eating enough. Have you used the tools on this site to gauge how much you need to eat per day?
1500 cals per day is a minimum for a man and it depends on your height and current weight as to how much you need. Eat more if you are excercising as your body needs it to keep your organs and muscles going. It seems strange but eating more can actually help you to lose weight because your metabolism shuts down if you don't eat enough, or worse still it will start using your organs for fuel instead.
As for the black spots - again no expert, but could it be toxins coming out as blackheads? Hopefully this should pass as your body gets used to a healthier diet.
Good luck
It sounds like you are eating too little.
You need to eat more. At least 1500 calories a day.
Your body is not wanting to let the fat go because it is protecting itself. You must eat more, lose weight slowly and you will be healthier.
Black spots - not sure why. Eat more, get healthier, and see if it goes away?
Thanks buddies for your replies, i will add more calories. Should i instantly increase my calories to 1500? or gradually.
I want to explain black spots, its dark patches on the face.
My wife had this kind of black patch on face after giving birth to baby. Doctor said at that time that there is defficiency of vitamen B6 in you thats why these kind of black patches are appearing on your face. After that doctor has given her multi vitamen tablet and few injections for this. Now she doesnot have any black patch on the face.
This is the reason i continuously used centrum multivitamin tablet during all my campaign of loosing weight. But still from last 2 to three days, these dark
patches are appearing on face.
You should increase to 1500 immediately, and then probably 1800 or more depending on how much exercise you do. You will gain some weight when you first up the calories -- but if you stick with it, you should lose it again after a few weeks.
I suspect the black patches are due to malnourishment (just taking the multi-vitamin does not ensure coverage), regardless, you should go to a doctor and get yourself checked out.
