BlackBerry Bold or iPhone?

Quote  |  Reply

I'm thinking of getting either a BlackBerry Bold or an iPhone but I'm not sure which one I should get. I'm extremely indecisive and simply can't choose (yet). I did some research and found out that (basically) the BlackBerry is good for text messaging while the iPhone has excellent applications.

I'd love to hear some input as to which is "better".

Thanks!

I don't know anything about the blackberry but i know you can't send pictures through text messages on the iphone, and since i do that almost everyday with my current phone, it was a big turn off.

Simply put, the Bold is bad ass.

That irked me at first too but the email feature is so easy I use that instead. I spent a year looking at my husband's iPhone thinking "nice little toy" but then I got one. I'm a convert. I would DIE without my iPhone. I don't know enough about the Bold to say anything about it, I just couldn't resist the chance to be an iPhone cheerleader. The apps, the interface, everything is so awesome.

I am gong to buy my daughter the eye phone 4 xmas, she is 14, willshe like it, you kno kids r big on pic messg

I switched from the blackberry curve to the iPhone and there is no comparison.  Hands down, the iPhone is the best phone I've ever owned.  This is coming from a guy who gets a new phone every six months.  I've had two blackberries, three Treo's, HTC Tilt, Blackjack, etc....  I see my iPhone as the ultimate phone and believe me, I will have it longer than six months.

I just made the very same decision earlier this week!

I went with the iphone.

for each application, the onscreen keypad changes to best suit that app while the blackberry keypad is obviously static.

the iphone 3g s, is really fast! that appealed to me. It also has gps capability.

Either way, you're going to get a kick-ass phone.

The iPhone...hands down!

The only bad thing about the iPhone that I've heard is that if you're not a new ATT customer they will charge you OUT THE ASS for the phone. It was actually cheaper for one of my friends to pay to drop his current contract with ATT and open up a new one to get the phone. I think they were going to charge him like $600 for it otherwise. Yikes!
