Already running into my first challenge.  My husband has been working on an investment property in addition to his regular job.  Today he got home at 3am!  And since he was soooo quiet, (not) I woke up and can't go back to sleep.  The challenge is not eating something this early, because I know if I do, I'll run over my calorie budget for the day.  Hopefully I'll be able to go back to sleep in an hour or two.

Can't wait to meet everyone on Red Team!  Woohoo!

Made it through the weekend ok. Hopefully the week will go as smoothly. ^^

I did pretty good this weekend despite my hub's hours.  woot!

Well, that's great. ^_^

So far, so good this week. Had some low calorie zucchinni muffins and green tea for breakfast. Now drinking water 'til lunchtime.

You know I entered school as a physics major and then decided I wanted to actually do something with the physics and switched to Structural Engineering. Who knew I would end up doing research in that field!

 

I am looking forward to HP myself, nice to see I am not the only 30+ that is into it!

Did I say I was 30something? oops! that should actually be 18 again lol

When the first HP came out, I took my daughter simply because I wanted to go see it (she wasn't bothered!) lol would have been a bit strange going on my own! I know I'm not the only one who does this, my bf 'borrowed' my girl a couple of times to see films he wasn't brave enough to go to on his own lol

We did have a HP party on Sat tho... watched the first 3 in a row, munching Bertie Botts jelly beans. I'm pretty certain I ate a dirt flavored one eww!

my degree is pure fizzics all the way... I'd have happily done engineering if it had been offered at the uni I go to. I used to want to design roller coasters, but with teaching, I can influence young minds muhahahaha

I am Lyndi and I live in North Carolina...I am 34.

Start weight was 208 in January 2008

Current weight is 170ish.....can't get below 171 yet!

Goal is 150ish

I like camping, cooking, painting and spending time with my girls (11 and 3) and my hubby, and our two dauchsunds.

I have been losing VERY slowly but trying to make it a lifestyle change. This week I am dreading the weight in because we went to the ocean and camped in our camper....so there was more eating out than is good for me! I try to get 30 minutes on the treadmill 4-5 days a week or something active. I try to eat between 1700-2000 calories a day. During this challenge, I want to get to 165!

I am looking forward to talking more to everyone! We are gonna rock it reds! Whoooo-hoooooo!

Good luck with your weight loss eveyone! I think I'm going to wait til tomorrow or Thursday to weigh in, I had to eat drive through yesturday which threw my sodium levels way up, so I'm hoping some of this weight is just water weight...Embarassed

So how does this weigh in thing work. I mean are we only suppose to post once per week or can we weigh in on Tuesdays and Thursdays? a 4 lb drop from last week is good for me, but I expect to be even lower on Thursday.

jkpenrod: we are supposed to weigh in just once a week on whatever day is most convenient for you, as long as it's between tuesday and thursday - did that even make sense? lol.  anyhoo, yes, just once a week.  if you weigh in more than that, only report one of the weigh-ins, not both.  hope that answered your question.

sooo, how's everyone doing regarding this week's weigh-in?  i may not post a good number - i've been really lazy lately Yell and need to kick it back into gear.  it's just sooo ridiculously hot here (hello 116!) that it's hard to find the motivation to move, lol.

Luckily, the weather's been really great here. The only problem is that I'm never outside in the weather. Undecided Between working 40 hours during the week and taking a night class, I'm happy to get in some DDR at night when I get home a few days a week. And weekends - between spending time with my boyfriend, trying to see other friends, and catching up on homework and housework... Yeah, not much time for exercise.

I'm down 1.5 lbs from last week, but have been gaining the last 2 days... hopefully I'll be going down again tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is doing well. :) And sorry about the mini-rant. >.<

I started posting my weight on Friday when I first joined CC.  That fit in well with the other groups I joined.  (Fabulous Friday and Schmoozer's)  Now that I've joined this group, I decided to weigh twice a week . . . Tuesday for this group and Friday for the other 2.  I always figure if I'm going to go over, it'll likely be on the weekend.  Hoping that a Tuesday weigh will help keep me in line Saturday and Sunday. 

So I showed a 4 lb loss this morning . . . but to be fair, I used my weight from a week ago Friday as my starting point.  (I'd probably lost a pound or 2 between the time I weighed that Friday and Wednesday when I signed up.)

I'm off to walk the dog now . . . we're supposed to get severe storms and maybe even some hail tonight, so I better get the exercise in before it gets here.
